It’s actually a lot worse than just setting up weakauras or using flyplate debuffs. No idea why anyone uses it. I do find the voice slightly calming though. I haven’t heard it for years until that MM guy started posting clips and the voice is different than I remember.
I think limiting yourself to visual cues while ignoring the prospect of audio cues is the mentality of someone stuck in their ways, aka a BOOMER.
Better to spread out information processing over numerous different senses than to overload a single sensory input.

You can without lossa, spells like combust, vendetta, etc have special sound effects that you can hear without an addon

Like… if you drive the same car over and over you will learn the exhaust note for each gear, the increase in pitch, and you can shift on audio cues quite well, even in a racing format. Though most race cars using a standalone system have flashing lights for rev limit. You also use audio cues listening to tires for grip. So yeah…

I do not use Lossa, audio ques spamming my ears gives me a headache. Also, when i tried using it (back in the day) i found that i would use things reflexively from hearing something that i didn’t need to. Example spell reflect a polly that wasn’t being put on me cause i heard “Polly”.

I gave plenty of experience in all three.
PS in professional racing you have a spotter in your ear telling you other cars locations relative to yours and track conditions all race.

I can go on and on and on with you but I don’t really care because this is a waste of time. But there is no reason for the addon if you use voice with your team who should be talking about what is going on in the game instead of an addon just mumbling on pointless things in your head.
Well… you can elect not to use it then if you don’t see a purpose in it.
Lossa honestly hinders you since it’s a person speaking to you and cluterring any voice coms too
I personally think that’s why it’s bad. If you were to play with no voice it’d be one thing I suppose, but honestly most people also have it fairly cluttered and not set up well
In game audio ques imo are better to a degree technically just because it’s a quick, brief sound that you’ll instinctively react to compared to hearing the full name of every spell being used in the arena. It’s a nice crutch but long term it’s actually harmful
Can’t compare it to omnibar because omnibar you can check really quickly and glance over it plus it’s giving a timer if you’re wanting that, vs gladiatorlossa information that is just mindlessly being spammed at you - it might be audio but it’s fairly slow and inefficient in comparison imo. Gladiatorlossa is the audio equivalent of just having spellalerter or like floating combat text being spammed on your screen. At a certain point you’re just cluttering yourself with information that is not being processed, and it’s hurting your awareness in 2 ways (first because your screen/audio is getting too much information, and second because you’re relying on it exclusively).
Gladiator Lossa CAN be good if people were to hardcore configure it, but honestly at that point you’re just getting same information that you’d just happen from normal team wide communication or just stuff you’d see or hear pretty quickly anyways. More often than not, I’d say it’s a long term hindrance and ingame sounds are actually better for most things when you actually know what to listen to (similar to footsteps in an FPS game)

My gladiator lossa doesn’t announce any spells, it’s just Lasso voice over and yelling “hooah” in the background. Gets me through arena.
