Ok everybody, I need help.
I game on two PC’s my desktop which runs New world, FFXIV, Destiny 2, Valorant, Elden ring, and many other games.
I then have a gaming laptop that runs ALL the same games, just on lower settings.
BOTH PC’s ran WoW beautifully during shadowlands, and even the first month or so of DF. Then I am not sure what happened. I got 120fps on both computers in Valdrak and one day I logged on and it all changed. 5-30 second freezes entering city’s / zones or phased WQ. I practically lag out in arenas and even just a 5 man dungeon. The game is practically un playable at this point. I have taken both PC’s totally apart to clean / look for malfunctions. I have stress tested both computers with stress test software as well as opening up multiple games ( FFXIV + Valorant etc ) and I had no problems. These issues ONLY happen in WoW.
If ANYBODY is dealing with this same issue PLEASE reach out to me so we can share ideas. I am about at my end with trying to get the game to work. I have been dealing with this issue since probably right around January first. I can specifically remember getting through christmas/new years break gaming my heart out and then bam… lag.

Wow I’m sorry its happening to you friend but at the same time sort of relief its not just me. I wish I could pin point a update or something that could cause the issue. Both my PC’s have different CPU’s / Graphic cards too. I rolled back both cards to previous driver updates and no luck. Tried tampering down my cpu load, nothing. It really feels like a game issue at this point but I have not found many people who it happens too.

Yea raiding is totally out of the question for me. Keys are a hit or miss sometimes I can get through it and sometimes I freeze on every pull and drop down to 5-15 frames for upwards of 30 seconds.
I changed every setting inside the game as well too for graphics and it does not go away

All zones or just Azure Span?
Basically the whole game at this point

The reason I ask is because that stupid cooking event in AZ causes many people lag.
Ahh I know what you’re talking about… yeah man its basically the whole game. Timewalking dungeons too. It is the weirdest thing… I went through a denial period where I thought it was my PC and I seriouslly took a barely year old computer apart swapped parts tried so many things and just chop it up to the game is broken somewhere somehow someway.

What video cards are you running? Do you have the latest drivers? Does lowering video settings help any? Have you checked the tech support forum?
I have the latest drivers, I even tried rolling back to see if the new drivers were issues. Settings as low as they can possibly go, I have not been to the tech support this is literally the first time I used the forums for this game since wotlk
Have you restarted your internet router/modem lately?
Did you try disabling all addons? Several people in the tech support forum mentioned this as a solution that worked for some.
Bro I literally had comcast at my house over this

I’m running WoW on an Intel NUC mini PC (w/ Intel GPU) and the lags were terrible and made dungeons and raids unplayable until I turned off Vertical Sync and switched the settings to use DirectX 11 (or was it 12… the lower version) and it has helped a lot. Not as fast and responsive as someone playing on some high end Nvidia GPU but at least it’s playable now.
I went a step further and deleted everything at one point yes
The whole game has been slow for some time. It now takes between 3-5 minutes just to start, and loading screen sometimes take 3 minutes. Everything is slow and lagged.
I have a decent computer with 64m RAM, a dedicated video card, and a 400mbit line.
