Serious horde pvp’rs on majority servers should be moving to Heartseeker

Honestly, do you think of yourself as a serious wpvp player? Is this one of the factors that made you roll classic on pvp? Blizzard is simply not going to remedy faction imbalance, but there is an oasis of alliance on Heartseeker.

If you’re in the majority on your own server, it’s not going to be fun pvp. Anyone who remembers being on one of these back in the day knows you’ll be roaming hoping for that wpvp action and it will feel like a game of where’s Waldo that 100 other horde competing with you at the same time. Roaming aimlessly through zones hoping to find that quick hk. It’s not pvp, it’s pve.

Sure, it also conversely sucks being in a super minority, but the difference is… in this one case, you, the majority, have the ability to transfer to a server that you know 100% has targets for your pvp needs. If you’re serious about pvp, hiding behind your 80-20 majority, and not doing something about it yourself, I don’t actually think that you are that serious about it.

Serious pvpers, we have a good community here, this could become the most optimal location for your pvp if you’d take the leap out of your comfort zone majority and onto a server that will always have an endless supply of alliance to fight with.

2 cents.

I wish you and all servers aiming to convince your team to help balance things out much luck.

Hopefully the community works this out and they won’t need to keep asking Blizzard to fix it. The option is there, but like you said, the players have to do the fixing.

That’s why they rolled horde. That, and the misguided perception that Alliance is populated exclusively by children.

If any of the census’ have merit or even on the testimony of the ratio by players themselves have any credence then this illusion doesn’t seem to be prevalent in Classic like it is in Retail.

As far as childish behavior, ya that is on both sides for sure.

Why would anyone give up the single biggest advantage in PVP?

Because then it isn’t pvp… it’s ganking. And anyone on any of those imbalanced servers touting being good or good at pvp is undermined by that fact alone.

This sounds like bait for more cannon fodder.

Hate to break it to you bud, but this is what WPVP has always been and I’d argue that dominating your opponent with a 4-1 player ratio is not only desirable from an odds standpoint it’s also a sign that your faction has conclusively won the game.

Well then Horde could, you know, ‘git gud’ and stuff, like the standard Horde>Alliance response goes on these here forums. The Horde wisdom around here says the answer to being out-manned 10:1 is to learn how to be better at the game. This is your opportunity to showcase that teamwork and ‘gudness’ you trumpet from on high! Do it!

You clearly either aren’t playing classic or aren’t paying attention to one example with the Stalagg/Heartseeker situation.

If Stalagg is Horde dominant and Heartseeker is Alliance dominant, by your logic, no one wins… It’s a tie.

This is the case across several servers.

WPvP happens, sure you get ganked by roaming bands or unfortunate to cross a party. However, claiming that you are superior when you have only numbers is just a numerical advantage… that’s it. Nothing else.

While it’s trollish to suggest that someone simply “git gud” when addressing factional imbalance, an argument could be made that the best “gud” has been got by horde players since more bodies in a fight beats skill more often then not.

Then clearly that faction has won on that server. :man_shrugging:

Yea at this point I’m going to assume you don’t even play Classic.

I do actually.

I don’t play on a PVP server because I don’t want to deal with this nonsense, but I absolutely do.

I have to give the OP a lot of credit. I really didn’t think anybody playing Horde will come out and suggest this. To those Horde who are seeking a more rewarding PVP experience, here is something you can do. Hope it works out for you guys.

I appreciate it. I think there are other horde players out there who want a more fun and balanced wpvp experience— to me this is their best option. I hope a few guild leaders who want to make our own change consider it.

LoL

Then you also understand that one side dominating the other has nothing to do with whether anyone has won or not and has everything to do with " PvPers " hiding behind superior numbers so that they don’t actually need to PvP that often nor lose that often.

Being lopsided in Classic has absolutely nothing to do with a faction " winning " anything. It’s nothing more than player segregation by choice.

This post doesn’t do anything to dispel the latter.

Pathetic troll is pathetic. Have a thumbs down.
