It’s not that simple because maybe they will like an item that will be offered in the future better than what’s being offered now and they could need today’s tender for tomorrow’s purchase.
I came back to wow in December. If I hadn’t saved Tender in December and January, I would have been unable to buy a LOT of things I wanted in February when the Love Witch armor, mount and weapons came out.
Maybe I like steak tonight for dinner, but next month I might want lobster. Better not get the steak tonight just in case there’s lobster next month.

If you like lobster significantly more than you like steak, that’s a reasonable risk to take.
You think you’re zinging but that’s exactly correct.
It’s called delayed gratification. Few species in the world are capable of it.
Instant gratification rarely leads to the best possible outcomes.
It’s a game where currency is digital and farmable. Not a finite resource. You can get the digital steak this month and the digital lobster next month. The digital lobster just might require you to farm some fake money to get it though.
I saved tendies for months and this month i had so much i wanted

Except tenders are not farmable and are in fact finite (artificial scarcity, but scarcity nonetheless), and the items bought with tender are not always available.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but you can farm enough trader’s token each month to buy at least 2-3 of the most expensive items right?
Like I said before though. I don’t think OP should pass on something if they want it in hopes for next month. You’re 100% losing the items after August and not guaranteed to find anything you want in September.
