It’s because the ability to think for yourself is required.

Absolutely. One of the worst BGs for sure.

why does everyone hate this bg i dont think its bad

A lot of the hate is because it requires a lot more awareness than other maps.

It’s a PvP heavy map and even a single player that knows what they are doing can have a huge influence on the outcome. I’ve never understood the hate until I spoke to a couple of regular PvPers (people with over 500+ honor levels) and the answer was always because it is a constantly evolving map that requires people to be checked-in. You can’t mindlessly zerg around or base sit and expect to win.

Seething shore is a fun map.

I do understand some of the arguments for removing it from the rated map pool but for random BGs it’s perfectly fine.

What are the problems with rated? I haven’t stepped foot in many rated battlegrounds since Legion so I can only speak from a random perspective.

its so fork knife players feel included

It’s pve disguised as pvp, just like the cooking brawl. So ally will play it…Seething shore isn’t bad if you can cc enough. But yeah, if you face a highly mobile team, sometimes it’s pretty rough.

If you get a somewhat knowledgeable team it’s not terrible. However, you get so many dumb dumbs in random bgs that its rarely fun.

You and a teammate are waiting for the azerite to come out of the ground with no enemies. It emerges. An enemy tags both of you to stop the cast. You shadowy duel into a kidney. You look over and your teammate has been jumping around 25 yards away in a circle not knowing what to do instead of just clicking the silly azerite node. It’s extremely painful.

It’s easier to cc the guardian druid than try to kill him for the node yet it feels like you are the only person that realizes that.

This is a just a team death match. Ignore the nodes and focus on getting kills, I promise you’ll have so much more fun. BGs aren’t always about winning, sometimes its about pummeling your opponent into the ground, asserting dominance and letting them know you could have won if you wanted.

I mean, is it really a win if they’re getting gy camped? Sure they capped some flags, but the other 9 are being farmed in the gy.

Ew, no. It’s a map the discourages team fighting. Who cares about winning this garbage map. I literally run around like an ape just trying to kill people and I think it’s one of my highest win% maps. I rarely do objectives and win just cause.

The problem is you spend the entire map running around chasing people that just REALLY want to mine that azerite. Cause, ya know, that’s what I like doing in pvp. Mining a node

seething bore makes me want to kill myself.

I support this,
