people complaining about the horde being here when the horde literally help bring the tree into the world is kinda weird
So is the tree just going to hatch with all the infrastructure on it?
Suramar’s status as the most beautiful elven city is still very much safe.
that was the reference.
For the people who may be confused.
The devs apparently addressed my confusion without my knowing. This makes more sense to me now.
Dude, with THAT tabard! i love it
I, for one, like it.
Having the Alliance and Horde fight each other, then band together to fight some world-ending evil, then forgetting what they did five minutes ago and fight each other again over and over on repeat for 20+ years is getting a little ridiculous.
Honestly, this is much better for the health of the game lore and story. Let’s have new factions that do things, not old factions separated along racial lines. And I think letting the Horde wander around is a brilliant diplomatic move. It’s easier to demonize and fight someone you don’t know well. Now some big burly orc is going to act like Smokey the Bear and dump water on unsuspecting mages and dragons because HE helped create that settlement personally. THAT ORC helped save the world tree along with his buddies. THAT ORC and his friends were personally invited to a blessing ceremony and a party. If someone else gets any ideas about messing with Bel’ameth, they may be messing with that orc because now it will be personal.
Ok, soooo that is a horse of a different color… i mean they get to do nothing effectively…
If Blizz would give me my /spit back, I’d be 100% ok with that
I like how they just slapped some Night Elf buildings onto some Dragon Isles ground textures and called it a day .
2 cities for Alliance and nothing for horde?
It’s gonna take a while to get rid of all of that blight from UC, to be fair.
This is such a good start for the new capital! All my Night Elfs and High Elfs will be moving in!
I am excited to see the finished city in the future tho, with the Mage academy and Warden training center the NPCs talk about and hopefully a new temple of Elune!
More specifically they took the Emerald Dream Zone, slapped on Night Elven Buildings, removed the Eye of Ysera and the Island containing the Raid Entrance and called it a day.
Emerald Dream is the Green Dragon Zone that was hinted at in the Centaur Zone while Amirdrassil is the Night Elven Zone that mirrors it.
Basically for Zones the Dragon Isles has: The Black & Red Dragon Zone, the Centaur Zone, the Blue Dragon Zone, the 5 Dragonflights Zone(they should have had a Caverns of Time-esque Zone for those Bronzes), the Dracthyr Zone, the 2nd Black Dragon Zone(should have had Waking Shore be all Red Dragon-themed), the Green Dragon Zone and the Night Elf Zone.
Theres a buttload of new Night Elven model assets, building assets, clutter assets, tons of old Night Elf NPCs with updated armor looks, and tons of named Wisps. There’s clearly been a lot of love and effort put into this new capital. Y’all lame downers fr
What horde?
Wow. And it’s for Night elves.
Maybe a typo? I hear the dragon bankers talking about “For the Hoard”. Maybe our friend is talking about needing a cap city to store his enormous wealth?
Is it? I don’t remember Horde being able to casually stroll through Teldrassil.
They called it a day. It’s made for night elves.
Look, I’m not saying it’s a good joke, but it was an attempt at one.
The neutrality feels like they’re testing the waters for another certain capital city in Midnight going neutral too.
Only reason this feels even remotely close to okay is the debuff where the guards imply they’re going to merc you if you misbehave, but it’d be nice if it were a bit more visible.
It’s a Warcraft game. The whole theme was war is an unending cycle.
