Per the notes, it also only starts getting to work when you’re not in combat.
Well that’s even better!
Remember the store arcane mount controversy. They showed it flying in dreanor and splash art on buy page, got called out and quickly tried to cover it up and pretend like nothing happen lol.
I’ll sweeten the deal. These effects also only begin to apply in “higher levels,” subject to adjustment obviously but these shouldn’t even be a factor until you’re past whatever minimum threshold to get your actual rewards for the run.
Oh man the mystic runesaber backlash was great. It did stop store mounts for a lonnnnnng time.
Because I can’t be arsed to repeat myself again…
This isn’t leveling, it’s endgame content. So no comparison
That drop happened at the end of MoP and early WoD, when they made the no flying announcement, and not later in WoD after people had time to find out it was content light.
Wh…why are we even COMPLAINING then??
These sound super reasonable tbh!
Ultracasuals with a persecution complex convinced that anything designed to pose a shred of challenge is an active effort to drive them away from the game.
I don’t think it originally had anything of the sort did it? Seems like good grounds for outrage to me, at least for the GD community, I was just disappointed but I’m fine just not doing it if I don’t like it
They gave us the feather toy from garrison that allowed you to fly for a few minutes every 30 min that was highly abused in world pvp ugggghhhhhhh…

WoD released nov 14… there were 10 million… the numbers don’t lie… they used to release the numbers. As stated It wasn’t just no flying… it was a death of a thousand cuts… though tbh when they confirmed no flying it became a gushing wound.
They strung people along till then.
It’s not even released yet. It’s still in testing. Everything is subject to change.
Do you have to do it in a group or can you solo it?
You can completely solo it, group is 100% totally optional.
What’s crazy is that as a casual myself, I feel like this is an UBER goos thing. This lets you find out just HOW good you are at managing diffetent aspects of your class and spec, playing to their strengths and compensating for weaknesses bia anima powers.
Also, people are forgetting that you could literally skip all the mobs and move to the next level with no issue.
It’s all soloable. And it’s tailored for each class, which is why at the start of testing it was only available to like 4 classes.
The difficulty scales based on number of members.
This is true, and I’m saving my final judgement until I play it and only relaying feels on changes
So, it’s just a timer, by a different name.
You take too long, it gets harder and harder, until you can’t progress further, because you took too long. Hope you don’t have any interruptions during your game play, because outside distractions and interruptions will have a negative impact on your in game experience.
Not everyone lives alone with zero distractions or outside influences effecting them you know.
It’s a pseudo-timer, you can try to say it’s not a timer all you want, but it’s simply like EA trying to rename Loot boxes into “Surprise Mechanics” to avoid the stigma of using the word “loot boxes”
