They increase difficulty on a …timer… not just per level.

Well, you are a a doomsayer and a whiner.
Go back and read / understand what is actually being implemented.
A game needs a fail state to be fun. I get it. But a timer is the laziest, unfun and most uninspired gameplay design since they invented escort quests where the npc walks at a pace that is impossible to match as a player (I mean the walking pace that is somewhere between rp walk and running).

unless Blizzard says “ok guys please trace a pattern like you did with the turtles in BfA as your daily torghast challenge”, then everyone be like “yay we love torghast!”
It’s why I pretty much gave up on Visions. I gave them a fair shake but after awhile it felt like I was doing the one thing I hate.
Running dungeons more than once for any reason.
Only reason I still end up doing Visions is there’s that stubborn cuss in me who wants to try and get a cloak 15. And I’m only doing it on my monster toons. IE the guys who can plow through mobs like nobody’s business.
I’m hoping Torghast doesn’t end up the same way. Where the mage looks at the instance, screams and runs in terror while the Hunter yawns and goes “Another page toward progress.”
You are incorrect about everything.
These are timers, whatever the fanboys call em. Levels get harder based on the time you spend in them, up to an impossible point.
That is synonymous with a timer that reaches zero and you get booted.
Just because it isnt a literal ‘you have 10 mins to do this level’ timer, it confused the idiots like you.

I have no idea how long these floors are going to take TBH, I am only reading up on what others say so if you can skip mobs than good. But if there is anything you need and need to stick around, it’s going to get hard.
I like this game and I’ll stay as long as they have options for people like me who don’t get into heavy competition.
I like to pvp and goof off so Torghast may not be for me, Idk but as long as there’s enough left to do it doesn’t really matter.
I hope they have an LFR/LFD version of it, though. I’d like to see it at least.

And M+ is not toxic, run it with friends and guild mates for fun. You don’t even need to make the timer and you get something at the end and on reset.
But you know this, you just want to difficult.
I’ve done a few of the visions but I mostly main my Resto Druid these days and it’s abysmal trying to solo them.
So I can’t be fussed anymore. I kept to my 12-15 keys and content myself with my rank 7 cloak.

Torghast is confirmed mandatory content if you wish to play through SL. If you intend to not do it, then I suggest not purchasing SL at all.

They should make infinite level 1 floors so people can spend eternity in there then.
This isn’t a timer if you’re able to stay there in definitely.
With these debuffs, you can stay there indefinitely, it’ll just be harder for you to kill things or maybe it’s easier to die to stupid things like traps and such.

I have the currency to do like 20 runs on my mage. But its just not engaging. It’s not fun. It’s not the timer, its the entire package. Especially when certain Madness effects crop up.
And the soft timer they’re pushing … you know what it feels like?
The 2.0 version of the Vision Madness, except WORSE as its constant and not sporadic or something you can play around (people hate scorched feet, but you can learn how to make it less painful).
You can’t do much about “take 17% more damage, sucka!”
