I recently switched my covenant from necrolord to night fae, and then back again. Upon completing my second round of doing world quests for maldraxxus, I am told to go to the seat of the primus and accept the quest Securing The house. The quest marker shows up on my map, but there is no npc standing there with a quest. I have tried relogging and completing a few callings for necrolord, but she hasn’t moved or become a quest giver. Something I’m missing or a bug?
Do you have any other quests in the zone? It sounds like maybe a phasing issue.
Out of curiosity why’d you go to night fae then swap back to necrolord?
yeah, i have world quests and normal quests, even callings in my sanctum, but its just strangely missing.
I’m no expert but it could be a phasing issue I one of those other quests has their own phase near the area you expect the quest giver to be. Try completing those ones first and see if that changes the area around the seat of the primus.
If not it might be a big from switching covenants - you can report that in-game and should be able to get some help.
It was a late night on sunday, I decided the movement from soulshape was just going to be better in the long run.
I get to the night fae area and i am just immediately aware i made a huge mistake. I hate the npc’s my character does not fit in, put it that way. Wild Spirits felt pretty strong but it’s no where near as efficient and fun as death chakram.
So i immediatley go back to necrolords and just start the quest over.
My characters story is that he was sent to spy on the night fae by the house of eyes. I also pilfered some anima from them while I was there

Yeah i have the same issue… changed covenants and i am renown 5 with necro ( some ppl told me u could only get the quest being renown 5) but Draka does not appear where she is suppost to give me the quest
I have resolved my issue by completing the three world quests in maldraxxus calling. It does not show up as a main campaign quest but it is integral to getting draka to stand in the right spot. Hope this helps you.

Seriously thank you for this post was ripping my hair out why I couldn’t see the quests.
I have done world quests and still cant get this damn quest any ideas?
that isn’t working for me either any ideas?
Also stuck on this quest. Abandoned it, and now I cant reclaim it because Draka isnt there. I completed a handful more of random zone and/or world quests and it has done nothing. This is really annoying.

if you abandoned the quest, the maldraxxus emissary in oribos should just have it available to accept again… if not that is a whole seperate issue.
I am also stuck on this quest. I have abandoned it but Draka is still not showing in the correct spot and I am unable to accept it again. The emissary in Oribos does not have the quest for you to accept also.

I was not on the first part of the quest, I was on renown 5. The quest giver should be Draka, not someone in Oribos. But, I also looked in Oribos and there is nothing from the Necrolord NPCs.

I opened another ticket. so far the GM’s have been no help at all.

This is still where I am at. Sucks, at least I can still gain renown, but its repetitive stuff
Stuck here also. Finished all WQ and callings for 3 days now. Maybe I should go back to Night Fae (j/k i think). Really bummed me out on what otherwise has been a good start to the expansion.

Hey I’ve done necro lord chain on 2 tunes. You will need to do the campaign questing for renown levels they will be locked behind level five renown. You can get up levels through some confusing quest chain so let me try to help.
- Normal quest campaign questing.
- You will get a renown from completing the world boss morphanis in maldraxis. The epic boss.
- You will need to do 3 world quests at some point in maldraxis.
- You will have to do four world quests in bastion which will be possibly under covenant sanctum quests tab maybe can’t remember.
- You will need to do a quest to kill a gold world quest that makes you kill and pick up random things it’s a percentage kill quest in bastion. It’s in the north west corner of bastion.
- At renown 5 you will complete renown by doing more campaign questing.
6,7,8 will be a mix of what I’ve already stated. None of this have I said in order. I don’t remember the exact order.
9.renown 9 will be the last campaign story line and your caught up.
