I think that was the bug, the ? item.
Unfortunately the CS person I contacted didn’t seem to know this–I hope they figure it out today.
I solved the problem myself by separating my bags. When they were combined, all my items in the combined bag were invisible. After I separated them, only one bag was invisible. I struggled a bit and was able to remove the bag (even after I removed the ? item, that bag remained invisible until I was able to remove it).

I got it done on my first character no problem. The spear did not spawn in for the second one.
Bobby’s Thinking Cap Notes has been restored.
Some players may have gotten these notes a day early. We put out a quick fix yesterday to address bags that had this item locked in them. Today, the notes were restored so players could read them and complete the secret with its clue.

Source: The Inquisitive quest for the event, got the title completed it but did not get the prize The Brown Tweed Cap, yes was the day a lot was glitched an bugged… need it please? I did put in bug report also, got all the others rewards for the other event quest an achieves but not the Brown Tweed Cap, please? Anyone else having this issue, heard that day many were with other objects.
