Second Class Citizens

To be blunt…

Leveling is MEANINGLESS!

It’s going to take folks 5% longer without flight. Maybe. If that. And that’s only for that hardest core, Red Bull™ swilling, bedpan filling, nose to the grindstone, “It’s 2am, 20 hours into the patch, ding I’m 80! Whirled Furst!” folks.

For most humans, that time differential will be non-existent, since they’ll be chatting, staring at their screens, reading quests, scouring Wowhead, etc.

The quests have to be played, the monsters stalked and killed, the dung beetles chiseled out of their holes with sticks. Everyone pays that price. The travel advantage of flying is mostly a non-issue. Travel time is very low on the total time spent in leveling, especially when it’s all new and you don’t know what you’re doing, what you’re looking for, or where you’re going.

So, why not open regular flying with Dynoflight?

I don’t know. The point is, it doesn’t matter in the short run, particularly if you’re getting it automatically at max level.

Now you’re getting it.

I think the whole premise of this post is backwards.

Society is optimized to function at the level most its citizens are at. The less able are then provided with help so they can also participate.

If you cannot tolerate dynamic flying but most players can that’s kind of a you problem. I think that blizzard will incorporate taxi points and flight paths so you can still get around. Or you can hitch a ride with a friend.

The idea that things should be optimized to the least able which is a minority instead of the majority its bad.

You will probably be given the ability to move around without dynamic flying. But to ask for everyone else to have to use wheel chairs because you can only use wheel chairs is bad.

I posted a question on this topic referencing your post on the Q&A Submission Blue Post. There’s 1,200+ replies to that pinned thread, and they will carefully screen questions, but there’s a slim chance they’ll address that one as it’s on the topic of inclusivity for disabled players.

We do have flight point in DF but not to the caverns ,there are ways a player can go about leveling in the game without flight or flying. but I can see op’s point it is unfair if you start this game as a new player not knowing what to do.That is the reason for the forums to ask and sometime complain.

Eh? Not from what I saw. It’s getting to the other zones that seems vertical. Not the zone play itself.

No.

It would truly help to pay attention before making these sorts of comments. lol

So the issue is OP has to level up a single character to max and do the story line…and thats a huge hassle?

Im a Starving Child Starving to Death and This Is the Very Last Thing I Have Ever Read. Gootbye

Your whole argument in that reply is in bad faith on its face.

Theres ZERO reason not to release regular flight, along with dynamic flight day ONE.

None, the game does not need to be optimized for regular flight, it does though for dynamic flight, so again the argument you make is moot!

Again, regular flying effects you how if it is released day one along with your perferred mode of transport od dynamic flight?

Ill wait for another lame response.

There are three flight points in Zaralek Caverns and you can fly to any flight point inside the caverns to any flight point outside the caverns (and vice-versa). Maybe you were unaware as I didn’t realize y you can click on the lower-right sub-map and pick a flight point outside/inside the caverns (depending on if you’re inside/outside when you click).

They print out the questions on the fourm and then do this with them

To some it is,one bad arm, blurred vison and lag is pretty telling.

Yeah, i would have deleted that nonsense also.

Not to the ZC you have to fly and or port as far As I can tell.

But none of that has anything to do with being on the ground or normal flying.

You are gonna have one bad arm, blurred vision, or lag regardless. So nothing changes.

Yea i miss read the post but thanks for replying tho

Is it the speed that causes issues or the “in and out of the camera” that causes virgo for you? The lines?

Incorrect.

This is the flightpath map from the flightmaster:

It can. There’s a bunch of different things. For me, I couldn’t handle the speed and remembering buttons, because it was all too much too fast too different for my brain to comprehend. It took me all of beta and part of live to finally be able to dragonride.

Some people aren’t as lucky.

It is silly not to give both types of flying at the same time. There’s no reason not to.

But at the same time your overdramatic poor me the oppressed victim post isn’t going to go over well or make for good feedback and you know that.

Unless this expansion is a drastic change, leveling takes like 8 hours and then you can old-school fly. You got this, I believe in you.
