If it’s a raid mechanic, then it’s a raid mechanic and I accept I have to suck it up and skip that raid. As I did in the DF dungeon that requires it.
Yeah sure google an exception. I’m sure the point was made. How about Blind people wanting to stargaze, does that make you feel better?
The devs are clowns, that’s about it. If they are opening up dragonflying/dynamic flight to everyone on day 1 for every mount, there is no reason not to have normal flight open as well.
I tapped out at “That Azeroth is no longer meant for us.” I have no dog in this fight, I’m not your enemy.
The universe doesn’t have an accessibility option, so we shouldn’t consider them either?
You also mention “inconveniencing others”. How are others inconvenienced if some choose to use TBC flying?
Wait,so there’s a contest here?
I addressed this. Read up.
I like old flying coz I like to collect herb on my druid and old flying is perfect for that. You don’t miss herbs and easy to float and collect as druid flight form. Dragon riding makes is super easy to miss herb/ores since you are going to fast so I swap to skinning on all my toons.
Honestly, people should’ve had it in the first place.
I have meds, but they come with their own issues.
I just don’t get why wanting BOTH forms of flying available, so that people have a CHOICE and people who can’t do dynamic for whatever reason have an option, is so contentious. How is it hurting everyone else, that y’all just want to attack anyone who has a problem with it, or who dares to point out that Blizz is being arbitrary, unfair, and less inclusive? Because that’s exactly what they’re being.
Fight the good fight, and all that good jazz. Just, don’t spray and pray.
it’s more Your rhetoric and troll(ish)
attitude than your message
Because representatives of that group do participate in the Boston Marathon every year.
But I was never attacking, I was just genuinely curious…
The pure vitriol of this post made me grin emphatically.
I truly hope that they change their mind for people such as yourself. It’s yet another pigheaded decision that lasts for years, historically.
The tone of your post was pretty aggressive and frustrated, which is understandable but always liable to attract hostility. That said, I don’t think you’re wrong here at all. Blizzard has made accessibility a goal, and it’s fair game to point out when they fall short of their proposed standards.
Northrend isn’t until the Midnight expansion (2 away). The next expansion, The War Within, will be a lot of new zones in the heart of azeroth, that despite being underground, will be able to fly in (like Deepholme). Lack of flying from 71-80 there is a problem for those that just can’t dragon-ride like the OP.
I’m not sure why Blizz is so hard-over on holding back regular flying but offering dragon-riding without any hold-back. Seems tone-deaf.
I’m sorry you feel this way, blizzard i’m sure is working on more accessibilities for the disable and those that have problems with the game. This could take some time.
You know, the solution for that vertigo is actually having a lateral view. So your screen doesnt take your whole view
Exactly what is the inconvenience that you or any other player will suffer if regular flight is enabled day one?
Seriously, there is none, none what so ever!
Dynamic flight is not even a selling point of the next 3 expansions, so i do not see why Blizz is even gating regular flying, like at all!
I can DR just fine, more than fine, but this decision makes ZERO sense!!
