The Mount price is a static gold sink. The price of crafting materials is variable based on when you buy them and what server you buy them on. I was using the Mount price as it is a consistent thing.
Either way, there are ample options for making gold and banning GDKPs did not change that.
I’d say it’s more Blizzard may have come to the conclusion there is too much illegitimate gold in GDKP. Outside of the impact it has when combined with RMT, not much else can be argued against it.

Sounds like Blizz is actively banning gold buyers, I’m fine with the vendor prices.
That wasn’t their justification for the decision. What Blizzard said in its announcement is that they were banning GDKP because it causes the, “erosion of traditional guild and social structures that are a part of the spirit of Season of Discovery.”
Essentially, they want you to run this content with friends and guild mates, not to make gold.

It isnt getting the ore/herbs, its selling them because bots have it so over supplied it doesnt go for anything.

I guess you’ll have to farm instead of knowingly taking swiped gold from cheaters in your GDKPs.

Gold buyers are also super easy to spot.

Blizzard is automatically banning for suspected gold buying and if you are banned you can’t even appeal.
