I’d rather have a mega realm than connected realms anyways. Less layer problems.
Hey my character has been stuck in the realm transfer from love wolf to crusader strike. I cannot log into him to check if there is any mail and at one point it said my character was locked. It is the only character that didn’t transfer over to Crusader Strike. Is there any way to reset the process?

Sadly there isnt and my guess is this is happening because of the MASS influx of players being forced to play on CS and Blizz clearly did NOT think this threw in the very least!!! the server ques are going to be stupid now the server is over populated!!!

they also need to start respecting that not everyone wants to do pvp… frankly I want to see it come about that you click one thing in options that completely turns off anything pvp for that toon, regardless of source. Mind you I have been pushing for this for years, but I am not going to let up…
There’s a bunch of people selling names that they reserved prior to the Free Realm Transfers with the intent to sell them to others on the Crusader Strike realm discord, it’s a freaking meme at this point.
Anyone that recently transferred a level 60 character should be able to reclaim any name from anyone lower than level 50 that hasn’t been playing at least since the beginning of Phase 4.
In the case of guild names there’s not much to do if anything, however you can still do something for the character names.
I won’t resub sadly until I see news about this.
What if a player is at level 30 and actively leveling? Should they be compelled to change their name? This argument holds more weight if the character is at level 1, unused, then yes, a forced name change would be reasonable, or if the character hasn’t been played for over six months, or the account has been inactive for the same duration.
Additionally, there are players who wish to frequently transfer between CS and SS. These individuals would encounter the same problem repeatedly. How would Blizzard manage to reserve their names on both servers?
If the character has been active since the start of phase 4 it would keep the name. I’m talking about the level 25/40 characters that haven’t been active since P1 and P2 for the most part.

What if that person has a level 60 character they are actively raiding with? Just because they haven’t been playing that specific character recently doesn’t mean they should be forced to rename that Character.
Well, they would have time window to log in with it before the Name Reclamation works, let’s say a week. If they don’t want to lose the name they would have a time window to log in to flag that specific character as ‘‘active’’. That would pretty much fix the problem.
Implementing that would require a significant amount of coding from Blizzard, especially with the UI on the character selection screen. Do you really think Blizzard is going to invest that much effort into a seasonal server. When they can’t even fix bugs on cata that have been known and reported since Day 1 of Beta!!!

Join a PvE server and you can toggle PvP on and off anytime you want. It already exists.
Left click on your banner and you can play any way you like

I played SoD heavily until they locked the RP realm. If they can’t guarantee names when they do scheisse like this in a character/story-based RPG, then why in the flying fook should I trust to ever make characters again, or even bother with the ones I’ve played for years if they just randomly force change? If you kill the name, you’ve killed the character and the game completely.
