More than 3 rune slots and overpowered abilities, yes.
Hell, half my list wouldn’t even change the game. It would give you MORE TO DISCOVER…

They told us what we were getting. Runes to make us feel a bit op. New raids, and Ashenvale PvP zone. They told us what we were getting, and so far its exactly that.
we are mad about changes being “damage” related and not "discovering something " related.
There is no “new” here. Just stronger abilities and a raid that resets every 3 days…
Discovery lasted about 9 days until YT mapped it all out.
Wait, are you complaining that you looked up how to acquire the runes instead of discovering them for yourself? You have no argument then.

yeah this is the reason I quit. Same BS. We should be able to pump like rage and energy users.
We only had one fight in last raid where the mage went oom and none of the other casters went oom at all. Shaman in each group for a little mana regen and decent dps and it’s a non-issue. Just like warriors suck until they get good gear.
I think ANYONE going into SoD with an expectation of Classic+ were just looking to be disappointed. We knew from day 1 this wasn’t going to be Classic+. Blizzard themselves said not to expect Classic+, and yet a lot of people were still expecting Classic+.

Did you at least try to figure things out by yourself?

Why use addons if you want to discover new things…
didn’t they mention new hidden areas and new monsters to find? I never encountered any of those. Unless they were talking about the BFD changes.

Eh, I get where you’re coming from but let’s not put too much stock in the Classic+ thing.
That statement really amounts to nothing more than marketing because they realized Classic+ was the single most popular topic in the Classic Era community here on the forums, on Reddit, on Twitter, on Youtube… And SoD is an attempt to capture and study that market for the future.
Yeah, while it was fun getting to 25 I really didn’t “discover” anything…

The easiest thing to do would have been zone rares… even that’s a cop out.
Cause streamer and player request for classic plus thats why this is made. SOD is to bring back some sweaty classic player to play. I too came back for nostalgic of classic. Is not much difference tbh even the raid gating toxicity same to classic rerelase a few years back.
I been enjoying myself surprisingly, got 2 characters with all professions maxed and raiding every 3 days with pvp/ashenvale and gold making in the in-betweens. So far I can’t wait to play all of Season of Discovery. Fun time with my friends so far.
Uhm… Defensive Stance comes from a Level 10 quest.
