Can we please get a Ban wave. Its obvious that accounts in Brazil, China, Oceania. They are gold sellers. 9/10. SoD was done well. please stop them from ruining the game

Great. Let’s ban wave them.

Then they make(see: steal) new accounts immediately and you won’t see even a 1% drop in the number of gold sellers and bots.

Ban the people buying I say. No demand, no reason for bots.

Got people paying 1,000 gold in gdkp raids in a week. Surely Blizz has the data to figure out who is doing it.

blizzard will not do anything to curb RMT or bots. your choices are the following:

  1. deal
  2. quit

bring in the token and lets get this over with. Blizzard wont ban buyers and wont ban GDKP. So at least when its blizzard selling the gold the flood of bots dries out.

maybe if you go to the absolute end of the reseller chain, some well produced website for dumbos with too much money. Most of those sites pay less for their gold to someone who moves it from botters or 3rd world farmers. Straight from the source it likely costs 1/3 or less.

Volume is quite different. Thats at least something, right? I mean, just wishing for stuff that might happen. People’ve been asking for a total fix for 15 years and it has never happened. Better go with something that has a chance of ocurring.

Likely? Find me somewhere i can swipe my card for gold less than .50 cents a G. Doesn’t exist. People are inventing whale boogeymen

that’d be the problem right there. The guys I knew from wrath classic would exchange gold for items off their amazon wishlist though and it was at least half price compared to popular sites. The boosting nerfs killed their operation though, but plenty more of those still around.

Then they’d have to ban streamers, which they are unwilling to do as they have a financial conflict of interest using streamers for cheap/free advertising.

The streamers also know they’re “above the law” because Blizzard doesn’t want the fallout of banning them. So they just flagrantly abuse gold buying.

The most sickening part are the, “I’m one layer removed from illegal RMT, so I’ll grin and launder this money with zero accountability.”

Imo, they should perma-ban people running gdkp raids because their actions exacerbate the problem and attempt to profit from it.

Its common greed. The actual problem is wanting to be rewarded for every morsel of effort and the fear of ‘missing out’ on rewards when doing things with guildmates or people from your server. You read that they are “wasting their time carrying bads” and that attiude is the source of the issue, that inflated sense of importance. GDKP is just one way to monetize that, funneling gold from the unskilled or insecure or socially inept or way too busy into the ‘elite’ who think themselves too good to do things for free.

If you ban GDKPs somehting else will show up, because you havent fixed the root issue: People dont actually want to play unless they’re rewarded for it, with gear or currency

I think you make a very good point on a different issue. It’s not great that people won’t do anything without a personal reward; however, it’s disgusting that gdkp organizers knowingly “pay” for their own game time off the back of illegal botting and RMT .
The only thing more disgusting than laundering that type of gold is the air of entitlement to do so, since, in their mind, profiting off game destroying activities is not being part of the problem.

There is no geographical discrimination, but it should be human

  1. Ban all individuals or unions that engage in RMT activities
  2. All scripts must be blocked forever

Why ban GDKPS it’s probably the best form of loot distribution wow has ever seen IMO
