GDKPs, in and of themselves, are not the reason. Being ‘rewarded’ for ‘carrying bads’ or getting loot with no effort or time constraints is. Im not just saying “people will just buy gold”, ofc they will, but because GDKP will be replaced by a new system that achieves the same end result. Ban them please, its a horrid game state that sours community and makes everything transactional. Just dont hope for actual change because this awful situation is the plaerbase’s design
rmt can exist in Warcraft just like in society, but robots really can’t accept it, so Blizzard needs to mobilize

An approach to doing this could be to Prevent trading gold inside of instances / raids, or if you are partied at all. Then no gdkp addon could be trusted. This would disrupt both sides of the gdkp participants and organizers
1000 gold is a fair bit of cash, but not that difficult to legitimately obtain in SoD. I can easily see dedicated players blowing that kind of money on deadly strike of the hydra with legitimately obtained money.
I doubt a ban wave will work.
It’s easy for botters to bot classic. As they solved classic years ago.
Blizzard won’t win against them.
Especially when nearly every top streamer and guild buys Gold.
