I feel like class balance at level 25 is kinda stupid. You’re gonna unerf them for later phases right? oops you forgot.
I see no projected runes for hunter tanking specs, IMO it needs to stay that way…
Season of Tanks is kinda dumb in the fact that everyone is a tank, we need more pure Classes not less of them.

No your quite right no reason it should do that amount of damage but when the alternative is a spell that not only doesnt scale well off serpent sting and a weakarse aoe spell that still pulls threat , your basically pissing in our faces without even the good grace to call it rain.
Yes it’s real fun to ignore the unique and iconic selling point of the class, sit in melee range, and press Raptor Strike every 6 seconds
No, they need to not keep trying to turn Hunters into something they aren’t. Melee players already have plenty of other options to enjoy.
I agree it needed a nerf, but why nerf things to uselessness? Explosive shot was a huge game changer and actually did something unlike arcane shot and Chimera that didn’t even feel op, it didn’t feel like it was properly scaling to serpent sting at all. It’s called Balance not Destroy lol.
This Season is all about experimenting with the classes and flexing them out in ways never thought of before, that’s why we have tank rogues, healer mages, etc.
Also, its Carve, Flank Strike, Mongoose Bite, etc.
It’s like they Nerfed Chim shot out of spite.
and much worse then just getting the BM rune and auto attacking with a pet.

Its definitely not useless. Hunters with ES are still doing great damage in groups. Anyone complaining about this is feeling the loss of power that wasn’t intended to be there to begin with. Complain about Blizz not testing ahead of time, maybe. But complaining that this nerf went to far is ludicrous. Hunters are fine, the damage is fine, and while its not as easy to dominate with one button anymore, hunters are still firmly at and around the top of damage meters.
Those other examples are adding roles to classis that never had them; roles that are useful to a group.
Melee Hunter is just a worse Hunter.

all this is understandable. but please can you fix the hunter volley, arcane shot, immolation trap, explosive trap , and now more than before serpent sting ?
(It still scale with spell damage… mongoose bite is not even worth putting in the bar with 25 dmg 6 seconde cooldown only usable after YOU dodge. i don’t think that is fun,exciting or even strong by any ways.
add on that all the buffs that is MELEE BUFF only and
They should make fun, creative, and interesting takes of ranged weapon play; not sideline the ranged weapon stuff in favour of yet another melee spec in a game already crowded with melee specs.
thats pretty much the argument of why this changes are so messed up. melee hunter being a thing is fine but the nerfs to CS and changes to ES making it aoe when put hunter in a postion to be what it’s always been. BM. like that BM rune is just better than anything and it’s so boring.
My plan was to go Beast Mastery anyway, but as expected they aren’t in the initial leveling experience, so I am waiting to get them. I just got Explosive Shot earlier in the day before I had to go to work. Really helped me get stuff done as a solo player. I don’t understand when they said they want people to have fun and live their class fantasies and then nerf stuff this hard this fast. My problem is the precedent this sets, too fun and too good equals sledgehammer nerfs. Feel bad for those who wanted to do a explosive shot AoE marksman build that would be on par with BM hunter. From what I have read this has made a huge impact.
