Better loot? what’s the point clear the raid even quicker than the 1h weekly clear?
It’s just a caster buff with really dumb wording considering the whole raid only had the set and a weapon or 2 for warriors.
Melee don’t deserve meaningful upgrades this phase, cool choice I guess
Buffing the sunken temple loot (for casters in particular) still isn’t going to help considering the small amount of non-tier drops, we were told the loot was going to be generous but most of the loot is not even a side grade
Been clearing since week 1 8/8, have yet to see multiple non-tier items.

Im really hoping we get some cool changes in phase 4, I dont want it to just be classic with runes, some actual new boss fight mechanics for molten core would be really cool
better loot to prep for phase 4, so we can get right into raids and higher level dungeons
Right? Gonna screw the people who only want to play SoD so the “Retail Classic” tourists don’t get left behind. Sad.
It’s fine if they want to freeze phase 3 while they waste time on Cata and wait for the tourists to become raidloggers over there… But give SoD players something to do until then. Phone in a phase 3.5 update - Create some highly desirable items, maybe slightly worse than the revamped ST gear, put them on a vendor somewhere, and make the currency to buy them a small chance of dropping from -all- ZF/BRD/Mara bosses. Give people something to do on their alts for the next “several weeks”.

I might suffer through wacked out PVP balance and unending queue times for 1000 rep per 3-mark turn-in. Would give something to do on my five alts I suppose.

Not just SoD… WoW in general tbh.
SoD is a trainwreck right now and fixes delayed inevitably so they can try and salvage the even bigger trainwreck the cata patch has been/cata will be
Meanwhile Retail is resorting to pretending to be MoP to even get people to notice it still exists, as it prepares to launch it’s next expansion exploring Anduin’s feelings as he drinks a soy latte and shops at hot topic.

July release also would have it competing directly with FFXIV’s next expansion. I gotta say, they’re pretty different takes on MMO, but the ride FFXIV did from AAR->Endwalker was bloody wonderful storytelling overall… If Dawntrail is anywhere near that level, I know where I’d rather be in July.
