Hi Aggrend,
Any chance the 3-day lockout can be scrapped in favor of a more consistent 7-day lockout? I’ve heard an idea tossed around where raid teams can have 2 back-to-back lockouts available per week, which would allow for nearly the same number of clears but allow schedules to be easier to plan.

Go to era then. Oh wait, that game is dead
So are we gonna have a gold refund or something for those that already bought the mounts?
I leveled 2 characters already and very recently bought the mount for one, between both that’s gonna be like 70-80 gold gone solely because I leveled one day before I was supposed to, this feels like complete crap.

Yup, these changes are disrepectful to the player base that has put in the time and effort to grind these rewards. Making things easier is rarely good.

7 day lockout would be great for me.

I think you should turn the premade group finding tool on since chat spam and bulletin board addons don’t help much in helping people find groups for any form of content and we know the UI already exists and is just turned off as you can show the group finder UI in-game in the client with a chat command.
We also know you’re capable of turning on selective cross-server grouping in classic since you do it for PvP exclusively in WotLKC. I feel like turning on the premade group finder and cross-server grouping (even if just for instanced content only) would open up SoD to make it easier for people to find groups for whatever content it is they’re interested in. I think this would increase participation across all forms of content.
I’d also consider adding a RDF for at least leveling content, though I know that’s even less likely. However, you have to have stats showing how many people leveled to 40 in dungeons vs. other content, so the demand for dungeon leveling is there and RDF allows anyone to get into a group in a timely matter rather than spamming chat when most groups are only looking for AoE/cleave meta classes.
It feels like this is just on a fast track to Retail 2.0
Classic is a preparation and logistics game. Nothing is hard about raiding Molten Core. But the work to get to raid there is 10x that of any raid from any other expansion.

people must not be logging as much, so this is how they implement new content, without actually adding content.
Epic mount cost should also be cut in half.

You’re wrong. The exp buff is desperately needed. Leveling an alt in Phase 1 was quick and fun. Leveling an alt in Phase 2 is absolutely brutal.
Hopefully they give people like yourself the option to turn it off so you can slog through SM for days lol

It’s only annoying because it’s a total flip-flop, mount prices were already reduced by 50% before Phase 2 launched.
Of course this was going to open the floodgates to people asking for compensation or reimbursement lmao. Should have just stuck to their guns here.

trueish but you can’t make gold from questing now like you could in p1 lol
Honestly with all the Layoffs…who actually knows right now lol. I’m leaning towards no…but there is always that possibility that there is one singular balance team.

And I understand this. I understand MMO development quite well and it’s certainly fine to have adjustments and growing pains like this.
I am just saying
We should try to avoid these. Get it done right now, so we know how to apply it going forward assuming the same systems are implemented.
