There seems to be so much focus on rewards for raiding and PVE content, and as someone who really enjoys PVP over PVE it feels like we have been left out.
I think you need to show some love for the PVP community and introduce PVP reward sets for ranks, maybe a new battleground or just a revamped battleground that’s new and refreshing. There has been alot of people upset about 1 shot /burst meta and how everyone is dead in fights that last 3-4 seconds.
Maybe introduce PVP tier set gear that have cool abilities that are class specific in PVP and have higher stamina then the Raiding gear but not to far apart where you need to farm 2 different sets of gear. This will solve the problem without nerfing classes. If you want to focus and have fun in PVP while you can still use PVE gear you can work towards getting higher stamina gear to not feel like you are getting killed in 2 globals. The AB rewards stink, and we grinded revered in WSG for what just some bracers?
On top of this the pvp event in phase 1 in ashenvale was not pvp, it was supposed to be a pvp event when all it was is killing PVE bosses lol. Stranglethorn is a start but theres no competitive feel and a mess no strategy involved its just everyone fighting to get killing blows on people who are already 5% hp.
I know adding arenas is probably a stretch but even if just adding rated battlegrounds. It feels crummy cause i know there is a huge PVP player base that feels left out with so much PVE/raid content. What if someone doesnt want to acquire their best in slot gear by raiding but instead want to work their way up and earn it through PVP. GIVE THE PEOPLE DIFFERENT AVENUES TO EARN GEAR BESIDES JUST RAIDING PLEASE! There is a way to do this without making people grind 2 sets of gear. It can be done in a way to make PVE gear still viable in pvp and the other way around. My point is that there needs to be a way for people to acquire their gear besides JUST PVE.
Presumably you knew Classic had 40 player raids at 60 from the start right? So why did you start playing Classic if your core group isn’t willing to get into a larger guild to do the content? #sigh. Bunch of ridiculous people.

So are you guys going to refund half the cost of the mounts that people already paid for? At this point I’m just not going to pay for anything until months after phase change
two major concerns:
I know 40 ppl MC throuh NAXX is a major classic unique feature but life is not like 20 years ago and now gathering 40 ppl at one time raiding asks for a lot for a father/mother/middle age group.
I am very happy to see XP changes for leveling/Alts.
bUT I would really appreciate if the reputation progress is sharable among accounts, seriously. especially Alts are just painful considering the rep mountain awaits.
Did blizzard steal GGG ( Grinding gear games ) employees ??? How is it that the SoD team is doing such a great job listening to community feedback ?! Nothing but W’s left right and centre for the SoD team. Keep up the good work !!!

that’s who the SoD playerbase is. a bunch of PvE obsessed parsers who fixate on getting the BiS loot so they can parade around town, brag on reddit, or whatever else these types do PvP doesn’t even exist to them.
100% feels VERY excessive on the first read through- and then, I remembered that I just spent hours upon hours dungeon and mob grinding because there wasn’t enough content in the open world to get me to where I wanted to be in a reasonable amount of time. Now that is boring. With 100% EXP, I can now actually just quest and be in the beautiful open world that I love without worrying about dungeon grinding.
While I think 75% or even 50% all the way through feels more appropriate for Classic, I know the arduous nature of the leveling process only gets more and more tedious as we go up in levels. So, maybe 100% makes sense.
I do hope that with this change comes improvements to some of the big leveling chain’s final items, like the Archeus sword from Mor’ladim’s questline. These are really epic story moments with difficult and thematic conclusions, and frequently, the rewards go straight into the vendor. Taking some time to revitalize quest rewards for these would be pretty awesome.
SoD was originally advertised with “10-man raid” at level 25 in a revamped dungeon. That was enough to give a lot of people hope that end-game raids would be revamped.
Did you know SoD was revamping zones when you signed up? Yeah?
I feel this as someone who has never mained a healer until SoD. It’s been a fun experiment but the PvP is so goofy this phase I just don’t even bother with it anymore. That sucks since world pvp is my favorite part of vanilla.
I think the important thing that the dev team needs to accept or at least acknowledge, preferably sooner rather than later, is that this is absolutely NOT OG wow.
I mean, y’all just implemented BoAs (really terrible ones but BoAs nonetheless). The sooner the dev team accepts that this isn’t OG wow the better off the game and everyone playing it will be.
OG Classic is already available to anyone who wants to play that. Let SoD just be SoD for the short time we have it. Stop pretending it’s Classic.
