Season of Discovery Class Tuning Incoming - April 30

Shaman derangement syndrome

Bro chill… this is a seasonal version on classic wow. All your stuff will be gone next year and the class will never exist again.

You are playing the least skill based class in existence with now the least skilled spec. Not only but now hindering the classes only utility by speccing into it. Bring your “Kings” buff and enjoy the game.

Guess mages were forgotten in the previous statement.

you guys are trolling at this point

Excellent job editing all the relevant info out of what I said to make it easier for you to respond to, you should consider a career in journalism.

do better then this. paladins are still bottom tier pvp memes. fix this already or give us shamans.

This is what needs to happen. When you make one of the two meme/niche faction locked classes broken its no longer faction flavor and its instead its faction imbalanced and unfun.

Tbh the problem with Invocation is that it does not actually give any sort of dps increase unless you are running everlasting affliction, and even then you might be losing dps by not casting your filler spells if you are going for the 6 second refreshes. You could just run synergy or shadow and flame and just not clip your dots

But also Unstable affliction is fine rn tbh. For NF/Ruin spec, it deals a good chunk of the damage. What really needed buffing for warlocks was actually either cutting the mana cost increase of master channeler, or buffing the proc rate of nightfall (And if we are lucky, making the shadow bolts cast off the nightfall procs cost less or no mana)

Rogue tanking concerns when? Poison QoL (Charges are garbage on a timed buff, especially for tanking), Vanish/Blind Powder QoL when (stop eating up my bag space please!). Cleave/AoE Options would be cool.

Yeah, I’m not worried too much for my hunter.

In terms of skill required a rogue and hunter are pretty close pve wise.

Pvp I’d argue that rogues are actually easier… Hell some just mash mutilate…I don’t even see a finisher.

None of that translates to actual scaling on abilities.

Very few hunter abilities actually scale well with AP, which is why people keep saying “hunters dont scale”…because they don’t.

Oh wait! There might actually be something here

Invocation (if used correctly), in theory is

  • +33% Unstable Affliction damage
  • +40% Immolate Damage (if using Immolate, but I’m not sure if this rune can benefit from Ruin if its immolate being refreshed)
  • +50% Corruption Damage
  • +25% Curse of Agony Damage
  • +20% Siphon Life Damage (Not that anyone is even taking this talent)

Overall, it is likely more than the conditional 25% buff from synergy, but the mana tax is just going to be so high. I’ll give Synergy a try this lockout though and see.

Seriously Blizzard? that’s ALL you can do for Warlocks? adjust a weak, bad rune so it’s still weak and bad and still won’t be used? PATHETIC!! You would need to SIGNIFICANTLY buff that rune for any warlock to even consider using it… This was the absolute LEAST you could do for warlocks and you did it,… a token change that will not help the class whatsoever. Stop giving us token BS changes that don’t change anything.

why do i even keep on playing, i just returned because melee hunter was doing ok, and AXE. welp

Warruirs can akso taunt, pop shield wall, and hold the boss for a bit.

They are also able to be mobile, have strong raid buffs/debuffs in one form or another, etc.

Melee hunter only brings damage.

In fact its veen vecoming more popular to spec MM for melee hunter to bring true shot because that buffs other melee dps.

How is Invocation increasing the damage of those abilities? It just causes the last 6 seconds of each DoT to instantly do their damage to prevent clipping. It would increase DPS, but not overall damage done. What am I missing here?
