Except seed, no idea why it was in p1 and implemented in such a weak state, especially without hot crits.
Mangle was good, until it’s strange nerf. It probably should have been buffed or at least have some DoT element to it, like have it permanently refresh rake. Rogues get free permanent instant and deadly poisons so it’s not like having 100% up time rake would be too strong.
SR is even fine IMO. I know a lot of players hate it, but it’s not like we have anything else to do with our combo points.
Edit: Also SR should buff all damage, not just physical, so potential item procs and Sunfire are also buffed
P2+3 really just proved how much they actively hate Druids though IMO. People say they don’t care about Druids and I think that’s not true, agg clearly actively hates us.
no it wont, the 10% shadow dmg in shadowform will be unnoticed in pvp. it will make them go from like D tier to C tier in Sunken Temple though.
quick maths tho, if vp and swd are ticking for 200-300 FULLY stacked via weaving they will now do 220 and 330 per tick. so 500 every 3sec compared to now, 550 per 3 sec. the average SP isnt nearly as geared as mine in pvp so expect a lot less than what i threw up there. i got chimera’d today for 1900 not even adding the auto shot+serpent proc. hunter has a 6sec SWD at 43yard range with half the cooldown and 30-40% more dmg. you see where im going with this a good hunter is the best 1v1 class in classic pvp, so if youre good at yours then you have nothing to worry about
Clearly you do not understand the scaling. Nice try, I have a spriest as well. You literally need 2 dots shield and dispersion to win. The most noob spec wow has ever had. Chimera for 1900, lol such a lie, I have a bis hunter even with lone wolf … never hit for more than 1300. If someone is dumb enough to walk in the trap at range that’s their fault for being an idiot enabling 2 chimeras. The range difference is negligible with shadow reach and your traps cannot be cast at full range. Stop with the blatant lies, literally a noob playing the most brain dead class since demon hunter.

i do understand scaling. but noones gonna pvp in full pve bis as a SP would have like 1.5k-2k hp lol. clothie pvp bis is at 5k hp right now. why would we trade 3k hp for like MAYBE 50-70 more dot ticks. classic pvp is about out gcding your opponent and ranging/sustain.

So wtf are you arguing about? Literally purple to gold on 5 chars every phase. We just started raiding as we had people out for a while. At the end of the phase I will be all pup role and gold on every char again. Also coming from a 1200 player you should not talk.
Fine, I give up, I’ll make a Shaowpriest. Clearly only 3 classes will be allowed in in PvP. If you plan on DPSing or Healing, you would be foolish to not be a Spreist at this point. Well over 300 damage per tick dots even without them critting. With 5% crit chance that puts a set of 2 dots doing 6000+ damage with current gear.
There has got to be a way to balance this, I get they are terrible in PvE, but give them something that involves a cast time if they need damage in that area.
Do you guys even care about PVP balance? The shadow priest buff is completely unwarranted. Also, the Alliance bias that has been around since vanilla continues. Shaman nerfs happened at record speed, while paladins are allowed to hit clothies for 700 non-crit (while bubbled). Is 10-second immunity, 1 stun, 1 incapacitate, full heal, and plate armor not enough? I’ve mentioned the issues with paladins on other threads, but because Blizz lets the mob rule, those posts are deemed “offensive” and removed. I’m still seeing no fewer than 5 paladins in EVERY Arathi Basin.
