No Ret gear has SP on it yet but I feel what you’re saying. It only makes me think Command needs buffed. I mean they changed the way SoR talent worked by adding Martyr to it. They could easily make changes to SoM talent. Proc more often, add damage from spell power…
I had lost a little faith in them until now but this shows they’re at least trying despite what anyone thinks of the changes. I’m happy it’s moving again.
Yeah, I’m curious about that too, It really should if they want it to work at all.
PvE balance is the only thing that matters, PvP is a side game.

well that also outright made it able to crit to soc has a 7 ppm so unless they increase that or something idk what they can do for it tbh
That’s why I’m saying they should put out an alternative style for non-powershifting Druids - your solution just makes it more prevalent as it makes powershifting even easier. There literally would be no downside to doing it.
Meanwhile, if they put in a rune that rewards you for staying in cat form and punishes you for shifting, they could then encourage a different kind of play. One balanced around rip and rake seems fair as it’s more slower and deliberate. For example, if every 3s of Rake DoTs reduced the cost of your next Rip by 5 energy, with the buff wiping as you drop cat form… now you are encouraging players to keep rake up so you can get a free Rip. That’s just one example.

no the way it works in retail is your energy isnt depleted on a shift its at a constant value no matter the form your in so you always are ticking no matter what form or no form shifting in and out wouldnt affect its current at all, but then theres talents like furor so idk really what they can do with it
Right but for the most part, that kind of gear is avoided. Only Shockadins take it. Our only real source of any spell power is the sheath of light rune. It is a shame that it doesn’t grant Command much extra DPS though.
Thinking about it now though, There was at lot at 60 on gear, but in all the reworked Ret gear there isnt any. so maybe those will be changed?
Now that you’re allowing spriests to 2 dot classes can we have our Scorpid poison scaling back? I wanna have fun mind controlling my pet and sniping people in the distance again.
I am aware of how it works in retail. But as long as the head enchant and furor exist, then the retail method is literally straight up a buff to powershfting. You still gain +whatever on shift, you just don’t need to micromanage your energy ticks as much.
They read all the suggestions and that was what they came up with.
I think you missed SS doing up to 75% more damage on hit
the one people dont realize is a huge buff is the ele burn rune. if they actually cleave 5 theyre gonna be spitting out insta lvbs.
still likely wont be competitive since it generates half the cp.
yeah they would need to disable the helmet effect/furor would need to change through a rune for that playstyle to work like i wouldnt mind giving up power shifting if i could have free shifts speaking purely for pvp here but being able to jump in and out of bear/caster for heals without destroying my mana would be pretty fun personally

When are you going to make FERAL actually playable? Haven’t had any real changes since the completely unjustified mangle nerf in p1-2. Cats are terrible at literally everything and you’ve done nothing but ignore us.

if your doing rotation perfect with all your pots/procs you can accomplish middle tier dps!
So Sheath of Light rune will only proc off of Crusader Strike and Divine Storm now right? And Judgements limited to 20 yards.
