I don’t even think priests need nerfs, apparently there is a damage reduction aura in WSG which in turn makes priests into battle tanks
Seal of command is better dps
Armor negates melee attacks, not spells.
so being a geared warrior doesn’t do anything for you against elemental casts.
Priest domination ends in phase 2, the time of the warrior is nigh
Increasing the mana regen on Seal of Martyrdom is nice and all, but I don’t think it’ll make much difference at this stage in the game. It doesn’t deal enough backlash damage to the paladin to regen may 1 - 2 mana a swing. And without seal twisting, the rune for SoM is dead as soon as the Paladin gets Divine Storm.
if you’re having trouble in pvp as a mage, you should try rerolling shadow priest - then you can actually have real problems to complain about

I was spending a bunch of time looking at my last BFD run, seeing how much damage I did with melee swings, SoC procs, and Divine Storm to determine how much mana I’d get back for myself and my raid with SoM at 10% refund vs 20% refund, but honestly, I don’t think I can say losing Divine Storm to get SoM without twisting would be anywhere near worthwhile at even a 20% backlash refund on fights that don’t even last three minutes. And that’s factoring in 10 people, not just myself.
So yes, agreed that SoM without being able to twist SoC is still a dead rune once you get Divine Storm. Maybe if holy pallies melee weaved like in retail it’d have a use, but I don’t think they do that in Classic.

No priest nerfs, no acknowledgement of the damage dampening aura in WSG which is directly contributing to priests dominating unmitigated supremacy in WSG.
The fact that priest healing hasn’t at least been acknowledged as an outlier is concerning.
I’d like to see, when using Deadly Brew rune, that sap and gouge not apply Deadly Poison. That’d be great. Also, not sure Envenom is applying damage consistent with the tooltip.
I dunno why you, in any way, expected this bug it NOT go unfixed?
It was such an obvious bug, it was only a matter of time before it got fixed, like, did y’all REALLY think it was intentional for it not to function like ANY other snare in the game?
This is consistent with how poisons functioned, and was part of the reason people didn’t use deadly poison in pvp. Deadly brew is far and away the biggest dps increase in it’s rune slot, I think it making your CCs inconsistent is a very reasonable trade off.
If you don’t like it, swap to a different rune.
Love this change.
This one was one the biggest frustrations with rogue tanking, having to macro in a cancel aura just to use your finishing move felt really bad and clunky.
On this note. Player can’t mine Iron because they eventually all turn to Gold nodes so then you have to wait to server reset to mine Iron as Gold is 155 mining skills.
Consider adding a Mining Axe +5 mining skill made by BS so people can mine Gold to respawn Iron. Just a thought.
