Just curious - and my apologies if I missed it, but when can we start earning restored coffer keys for Season 2? How do you get them and I am going to assume level 8 delves are not the ones you want to go after.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
same as season 1
and tier 8 will be the max for gear, the higher tiers will give the same ilvl but a little bump in gilded crests

After next reset I believe, when season 2 officially starts.

most currencies were reset as of 2/25/25, it would be really odd for them to reset a separate set of currencies on the following week. We could collect key shards prior to official S1 start too.
I got two restored keys tonight but they don’t say season 1 or 2… one came from theater and the other from 4 braziers in Hallowfall but I did these two as a test…
Thoughts?
I assume they will be gone next week and we will have new ones to grind out/obtain.

That is my fear as well which is why I did two easy test cases… wanted to see what happens next week with them.
They’ll reset tuesday and you’ll start back at 0 and then have to gain keys (the same way you normally would) all over again

why didn’t they do this in season 1?
This week’s keys are already accessing next-season gear (or at least that season’s ilvl), right? So while you can’t hoard them, you can use them to great effect this week, assuming you need 623 gear.
That is good to know. I’ll try a Delve tonight and see what I get and report back.

The delves themselves aren’t but the weeklies are (SI excepted).
I agree with the suggestion tho, had 3 delves already give reputation one of which was goblin cartel. Am trying to burn as many keys before Tuesday.
I noticed they don’t specifically say season 2 keys as well unless I’m missing something. I see we’re specifically getting S2 of valorstones though. 
Yes I saw S2 Valorstones and S2 Crests (well weathered at least)…so was not sure about the keys I got. They didn’t say S2 and there is no place under S2 currency that says “restored coffer keys” or something like that.
Confusing at best but that is on brand for Blizzard.
They can avoid all of this by simply posting in this thread. Instead we get a blue post telling you how to switch out an engine.

do you really think blizz wants you, to go in every bountiful delve for that week and gear out immediately in 650 gear for that week? nah they will cap it at 4 bountifuls that week maybe 1-2 more if ur lucky or get key fragments WQs
they absolutely will not let you do 28 delves and get loot from them all. you got a whole season they want you to grind.

No one even stated this. Stop with the nonsense.
Since the keys themselves are a currency, not an item, the quickest way to see they’re seasonally restricted is looking at the world quests rewards for shards, which are items. For the WQ’s that give 25 coffer key shards, you can see the “season 1” label.
Also, even though it’s a bit confusing that not all currencies reset at the same time, it does make sense to leave restored keys untouched this week for one simple reason - those are how you get gear from delves. Similarly to how we can still run a normal or heroic palace and get some drops from bosses, we can still run delves this week and get loot - if we have keys. Delves were never a worthwhile source of loot without unlocking a bountiful chest, so there’s the equivalence.
Thanks for the update, Dead…I am 99.9999% sure these are not going to be applicable to S2 but a quick test tonight will reveal the findings.
