A bullion-like system using Vault compensation tokens that lets us purchase specific dungeon drops after “X” number of weeks of foregoing Vault loot.
Dungeon selection balance (e.g. better split between grueling, high-damage/mechanics-heavy dungeons and “lighter” fare along the lines of Waycrest, Freehold, Mists, etc.).
Move Challenger’s Peril to M+8 keys to match the gilded crest change. This will take some pressure off M+7 runs.
Use brain cells when designing dungeon mechanics as to not lead to inevitable massive nerfs to player spells (Mass Dispel, Poison Cleansing Totem) because of their own poor design. That’d be nice.
RP elements are fine. They actually offer a slight respite for CDs to come up and healers to drink. I welcome RP as long as the timer accommodates for it.
I almost feel like they should just delete mass dispel and PCT from the game, because any time a mechanic exists where they are actually useful players just cry they are forced/required.
I don’t mind RP, but I can understand the complaint because it’s part of the dungeon you can’t work on improving your time with. It’s just a static time sink that no improved play can overcome. And the timer being “designed to accommodate it” is very subjective.
Maybe push the cosmetic/convenience reward a bit higher. Ports to 12s or 15s. Once you get your 2.6k io plus and all your ports by doing basic 10s you have no reason to keep going and it becomes a chore of farm basic content 8 times a week for vault.
-i want the old m0-9 track back. let me learn the mechanics as a tank before you really punch me in the face.
-longer timers. a wipe, or even two, should not automatically brick a key
-fewer “shoot” NPCs that can’t be interrupted. there aren’t always DKs in every group.
-no “runner” mobs who bring back friends. one thing i do NOT miss from classic…
-affixes that are timed to the rng of the content. i see this week’s affix often spawn in the exact area of the map we had to vacate because of swirlies
-less open area encounters where you have a bunch of caster mobs and no way to los them (looking at you necrotic wake)
I have not done it since SL, for very good reasons. So changes I would love to see are:
Perfect class balances to all healers making every spec useful so people will play the healer they love and stop groaning about R_Shaman
Increase in crest drops so people can max out their gear in two weeks, get bored and unsub til next season so the forums are not flooded with M+ threads about currency and gearing
Incentives for pushing +25 and greater keys so there is less worry about the Delves catching up and ruining their elite prestige
Have an option to remove the timer from the key and focus solely on the heavier affixes and mechanics
Add Nightmare mode option: One death wipes the whole key and everyone is transported back to where they queued in. These folks wanna brag about their skills… let them have the OPTION to prove it.
