Season 2 Arena Points - When can I spend them?

Hey everyone,

As you know, S2 arena ends January 11th, 2022. On that day, I will have 3775 arena points, enough to buy the 2H weapon. However, I’ve seen a bit / heard of a bit of conflicting information. Which one of these statements is true (if any)?

1. On January 11th, all arena points are coverted to honor, you will not get your 2H weapon.
2. On January 11th, S2 ends, however you have the off-season (couple of weeks) to spend your arena points. You just will not be able to gain anymore.
3. On January 11th, S2 ends and you will be able to buy S2 gear at a discount, during the off-season.

Basically, will I be able to buy my S2 2H weapon if January 11th is the day that I get the final batch of points I need?

If it happens the same way S1 ended, then S2 ends on Jan 11th, and you’ll have until the start of S3 to buy items with arena points at a discount with no rating requirement. Your points don’t immediately get converted to honor until the start of S3.

Worth noting, Blizzard has not confirmed that will happen and other than the announcement that the season is ending there has been radio silence about the topic.

Based on how Blizzard treat us I don’t expect to hear any more either…
