SE review week 3 dad casual guild

So far we’re 5/8 got to see a few pulls on council tonight got to say the raid is fun to prog

Boss 1- easy cake great
Boss 2- again overly nerfed 3rd time
Boss 3 drake- Bad rng with whelps and AOE fire can kill the raid but with health nerfs great
Boss 4 Mason- We had a super scuff and bad pull and still killed one pull in a good spot

Boss 5 beastmaster - We did him 4th actually but he wasnt too bad if the bear mechanic still doesnt go thru the fense theyre not too bad if they do change that to go thru the fense and hit people on barn roof then fight would just be super annoying with a 1 hit mechanic, get rid of 1 hit mechanics

Boss 6 Council- Fight seems crazy but isnt too bad Herod doesnt hit too hard just avoid AOE, Mage is cake some blink blast into lava is annoying but managable, Vishas is why we wiped the 5 attempts just failing the kicks the last 2 pulls we got them down to 5% id say make his Peeled Secrets be 2.5-3 second cast or not be cast INSTANTLY after vanishing and teleporting everywhere we just failed to interupt after he teleports theyre very doable just next attempt have mages go to him when he vanishes for kick

Boss 7 Lillian Voss- Going off video i watched clearing her 40 players and does seem like a crazy fight but just seems she hits tanks little too hard, and the fire part of her kit seems to be too much damage but hopfully i will see sunday but dps checks for her and last boss might be hard

Boss 8 Grand Crusader- I dont see any casual guild clearing him as he is

I am gonna ask when is the ICC buff for SE going to be released?

i mean from how you describe things it doesnt sound like you need one.

Last 3 bosses are going to be nerfs like Beatrix then if that’s not the case and I don’t want that

Hopefully gearing is all we need and not the ICC buff. I always find that to be a lame way to increase player power.

I would much rather it be set bonuses get us there so you follow the flow of struggle, gear up and eventually overcome the capstone boss.

It has been decided by folks much brighter and more informed and who actually have control over the matter that it IS needed and will be added. The question was asked as to WHEN, not if, or for your opinion on whether or not it is needed.

Blizzard only stated the buff might be added IF conditions dictate, that conditional language doesn’t eliminate the core concern. If the tier set bonuses and gear already boost player power by 50%, introducing an additional buff—even on a contingency basis—would be redundant, destabilizing an intentionally crafted progression curve. The phrase “if needed” should be a cue for careful evaluation rather than a guarantee of an extra power spike. It implies that, if circumstances warrant(which they don’t), a buff could be slotted in; however, that decision must be grounded in a holistic assessment of game balance, not merely as a response to isolated instances of difficulty (casual players/pugs not being able to clear the raid 8/8 in Week 2).

Relying on a top-down directive—even one couched in the cautious “if needed” language—risks undermining the sense of achievement players earn through gradual, organic progression. A conditional buff suggests that the current design might be insufficient in some areas, but if players already feel overpowered by gear bonuses, then the potential buff would inadvertently trivialize the challenge further. Rather than sidelining community feedback or using it as a crutch to mask other design issues, it would be more prudent to re-examine the gearing and scaling systems that already contribute to such a significant power increase.

In essence, Blizzard’s conditional wording shouldn’t be seen as an open invitation to continually stack bonuses without considering the broader impact on gameplay. It should be interpreted as a commitment to keeping adjustments measured and balanced, ensuring that any additional power is truly necessary and beneficial to the gaming experience rather than serving as an unnecessary shortcut.

Again, you are wrong, and could have been a lot less verbose about being wrong. Also, unclear if you are making things up with malicious intent, or just incompetent, or a poor reader, or some combination of all three. This also explains your obvious reliance on an AI crutch to help you formulate your posts.

" 1. We have a system in place that, after a time, will allow you to gain a buff that will make it easier (similar to ICC). We don’t want to flip this on just yet, but we are discussing timing for it and will likely make an announcement on that soon."

It’s not a question of IF, but WHEN. Case closed.

The real quote is

When the word “MAY” is used in this form it means its not a guarantee but a possibility.

Thats not a blue post!!!

It’s a quote from the actual lead on the game, unfiltered. Get over it.

Anyone can claim something is a quote—“insert quote here”—but that doesn’t make it factual. I actually copied a blue post and pasted the quote. See how my quote is more credible than yours?

It’s not more credible. If you have the equivalent of a third-grade education or greater, you can copy my quote and verify it online. I am not allowed to post external links here. The source is included to help you out a bit, as apparently you need the help.

Also, check the dates. And finally, the buff is coming. Whether you like it, agree with it or not. Your childish behavior won’t stop that.

There is no need for such hostilely

Nothing personal meant. Have a good weekend!

Crazy how you say nothing personal, but you throw insults when proven wrong.

A blue post is more creditable then a “insert quote here” quote

No, it’s not. As I already explained. You haven’t proven anyone wrong. I proved you were wrong, then offered an olive branch when you cried about hostility, in order to end this now pointless back-and-forth. This conversation is over.

No, you posted a “quote,” not a blue post. Blue posts are more credible here. Why don’t you post the blue post that says an ICC buff will be turned on—not if or may, but WILL? So, you didn’t prove me wrong in the slightest.
