Checked on the PTR… Still not fixed. EVERYONE GO ON PTR and report using BUG REPORT.

It’s been roughly three months and still no answer or acknowledgement to the scrolling and right-clicking problem. Our Mac community is minuscule in comparison to the Windows side of things so we can easily be ignored. That’s just the way it is. There isn’t sufficient money/rationale in fixing Mac problems when there’s already so much on Blizzards plate.
So it’s time for a break for me. My sub runs out in a few days and I’ve already cancelled the auto-renew. It’s time to play something else for a while and check back in a year or so.

This is the second time I’ve saved 125 Reals to purchase a T2 Bracer in SoD, and since you have to right click to purchase, and since the track pad scrolls the purchase screen, you end up spending 15 non-retundable Reals on a Shaman Totem - I’m a Pally, and I don’t have enough for my Bracers anymore!!
This time I’m going to lodge a support ticket to refund my Reals!
I’ve also purchased the 150 gold AD Thingy, and countless Arcane Dust from the regent vendor. It’s beyond ridiculous.

Weird, first time I’m seeing this thread. I"m wondering if it existed outside mac tech forums til recently and got moved?
Either way i already have an idea on what regression probably is related to cause it broke scroll wheel too initially but that got fixed. It probably got missed with trackpads.

am looking forward to classic fresh maybe will get the version that isn’t broken for Mac?? @bliz Mac going to be able to play or nah?
it’s just more that blizzard doesn’t support mac anymore except for “soft” support. which is what they call maintenance. It’s a very low effort “keep it running” for existing mac products only. But yes we often end up in a situation our client is more buggy than a fully supported mac product, cause it’s not a fully supported mac product.
And don’t just believe me, believe evidence. remasters of warcraft 1 and 2 have no mac support at all. and 2.0 update for 3 broke mac support by accident (cause they probably forgot to even test it).
it’s why I’m ever grateful that we can still run unported games in things like crossover. that may be future of even WoW one day, when they even get tired of soft support.

To overcome the chat scroll issue:
Use two fingers to scroll to the bottom of the chat box, then simultaneously remove one of two fingers while sliding your single finger beyond the extent of the chat box. With practice, you can fix the Chat Box issue without having to /reload
To overcome the page selection spin from Vendors:
This one’s about speed. Tap both fingers at precisely the same time over the intended item for purchase. It appears to be an ultra sensitive roll from the touch of the first finger to the second.
If the item can be stacked, hold shift when you click. This allows you to practice without making a purchase, because you can cancel if the wrong item comes up.
Map and MiniMap:

Other actions, like Pally Power right click a player - Try the speed click.
The Issue has been rolled out across all versions of the game, but at different times. It appeared in SoD first in the PTR for Phase 5, then two weeks later, during the PrePatch for live SoD. I think it was present in Retail months before this, and appeared in Cata a month after SoD. Maybe someone can help me here with the timeline(?)
Maybe Devs can use this to see what the common change was in each of these specific patches, to weed out the problem.

For vendors i have been using TSM to type the first few letters of the items name… then right click (double press) ensures that there are no issues.
For vendors I use cmd+tap, which is a right-click.

Latest update pushed… STILL NO FIX… Not even a blue comment from Blizz saying they are or are not intending to fix… At least let us know if you are planning on sorting it.

Its not a great look now tbh… One of the largest current posts in this forum… Why have a mac forum if you are not going to support it… There must be a fair few thousand people with macs… especially in the USA…

Tried to get a refund on my 15 Reals from purchasing a Shaman Totem, when I clicked the T2 Bracers, no joy.
The final word from the GMs was, if the game isn’t functioning as expected, post a bug report in the forums, but no refund on Blizzard Side bugs.
