Scariest class in real life?

Hunters and Warriors? Pfft, we have those IRL, who cares.

Paladins? Oh no, they’ll heal you with bright light or hurt you with bright light. Big whoop, I can do that with a lamp.

So, which class would be the scariest IRL?

Warlocks, Death Knights, and even Mages (sheep can’t say no) would be quite scary, but I’m torn between:

  • Priest
  • Shaman

Shaman
They can summon ghost wolves to attack you. Regular wolves that want to eat you are scary enough as it, but corporeal wolves? How do you defend yourself?

They can also throw freaking LAVA AND LIGHTNING at you. Lava can be up to 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit, which is insane, BUT LIGHTNING CAN REACH TEMPS OF 50,000 DEGREES. That’s 5x hotter than the surface of the sun.

FIVE. TIMES. HOTTER. THAN. THE. FREAKING. SUN.

Priest
This is going to get very dark, so just a heads-up…

This is what would make Priests terrifying IRL.

Shaman can melt you or make you explode from a lightning strike, but they don’t have Mind Control.

Priests could so something as harmless as make you confess your feelings to your crush against your will, or make you kill your loved ones. There’s nothing you can do but watch the look of betrayal on their faces as you murder them.

:man_shrugging:

I mean, I guess Evokers are weird dragon things, that can be scary too, I guess…

Oh no, not the man with a stick jumping around a bonfire summoning rainclouds!

Please. It’s obviously the guy who will bring about the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.

And he can raise the dead!

Excuse me? Priests are the original face melter.

Sorry, you’re right, at those temps you would be vaporized.

Well, there is some evidence there…

We can fear nuclear priests all we want, but nothing is scarier than a mass famine North Koean style with a bubonic plague AND dead things trying to murder you.

demo warlock, kill some creatures, steal some souls from people that are about to die and you can summon a demon army. With those demons they can kill whoever they’d like and also have access to races with space technology beyond current human understanding. It’s a surprisingly diverse power set as you can summon torturers, hounds that can track people down, beings with sophisticated magic the list goes on.

Zombies are so boring now.

A Death Knight wouldn’t spread the plague, idiots on Facebook would spread it.

Imagine a priest life gripping you across a busy highway. Then resurrecting you and doing it again

Death Knights are masters of pestilence. They will slowly kill you with ebola and then raise you to eat your friends. That’s pretty terrifying!

Are you really “you” at that point though?

Math class.
It just became mandatory…

Well you’re you in the sense that Arthas was Arthas when he put on the crown.

We have RL hunters, warriors, priests, and even shaman.

RL Shaman shake rain sticks and impotently curse or bless things while burning incense.

RL Priests shake rosaries and impotently curse or bless things while burning candles.

RL Hunters and Warriors hunt things down (people or animals) and shoot them.

I’m going with the Hunters and Warriors.

We have RL mages too they can pull rabbits out of funny hats

Rogue, hands down.
Being out hunting in dangerous areas and you get that feeling something is watching you, but you can’t see it, it messes with your head on another level.

Fear of the dark is a thing but not because people actually fear the dark itself, they fear what they cannot SEE, what MIGHT be lurking around just waiting to get them.

Yes a DK might be scary in the monster movie sense, but you can see them coming and can look around to see if any are nearby, so you can tell yourself, “it’s safe” but with a Rogue you can never be totally sure you are safe.
