I was playing turtle wow and I saw a low level female human running up the stairs in Goldshire Inn, and this rogue just RP walks up the stairs with a knife out and then Michael Myers her right outside of the bedroom.
That was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever witnessed in WoW.

Pandas can kill you, but if you ask someone what kind of bear terrifies them, it’s a Grizzly or maybe a Polar bear, nobody comes hauling butt out of the woods because they saw a Panda

My vote is Warlock. They steal souls and summon demons while throwing fire and curses. Just look at what they were up to in the first two trailers. One roasted a bunch of bloodthristy murlocs with a wave of his hand.

The reason you don’t go down dark alleys at night alone.
The reason doors have locks.
The reason there is such a thing as bodyguards, and security cameras and ADT, and armored cars and police.
No other class causes such mayhem and fear as a Rogue.

If you somehow end up in a prison, you could get shanked.
If you walk along a dark road in the middle of downtown, you could get mugged. Or shanked.
If you are in your bed late at night and you hear loud bangs from your front door and creaking up the stairs, best believe you might get shanked.
Scary stuff. You know what they say, “rogues do it from behind”

My top 3 for scariest classes are, in this order,
- Warlock.
- Druid.
- Rogue.
Warlock is obvious, especially when you remember that one gnome from the Northrend Trial of the Crusader that summoned a hulking behemoth of a demon before getting turned to DUST by said demon. If Warlocks can do that, while summoning like 30 other demons, they can bring about the destruction of the world all on their lonesome.
Rogue is an obvious one as well, they can stealth and become invisible before shanking you with a knife. Good stuff. But what makes DRUID better is one thing: They can do the same thing, as a bloodthirsty feline. Or worse yet: Stealth as the feline then shift into a Bear right in front of your face and surprise maul you to death. Instant Bears are MUCH more terrifying than knives. Regardless, both are difficult to escape as by the time you realize they’re following you, it’s likely too late and they’re right behind you.
Honorable Mention: Death Knights. They can raise the dead, they can pull you from 30 yards away and drain you of your Blood OR your Warmth, but here’s a problem with them: They’re so SLOW. By the time they get within 100ft of you you’ve already rounded a corner or gotten into a car and escaped their Death Grip with zero problems. And with how the Death Gates only work with places they’ve been, if the Death Knight doesn’t even know where you are and you’ve gone to a new place they might as well give up and try another target.
I’d be pretty scared of Druids. Imagine getting into a fight with someone and then they turn into a magic bear or jaguar or somthin and kill you. And you can’t even escape cause of the horrifying viney tendrils holding you down. That Malfurion cinematic has given me a healthy fear of druids.
Evokers would also be a bit frightening irl. Get into beef with some guy and he turns into an 8ft dragon man. Like, they can pick you up and drop you off a cliff or somethin, fly around you in circles blasting you with massive fire blasts. No thank you I would not wanna fight that.
Demon Hunters are pretty similar in fear factor, except instead of an 8ft tall dragon they turn into a horrific demon and incinerate you. No thanks.
Death Knights could be scary but I could probably take down a literal rotting corpse. I’ve survived a plague before I can do it again. A frost DK could a problem though but they aren’t the only frosty class so they’re on the same level as the other ones. So probably the least scary class for me is Death Knight.

Bruh druids are held in zoos and when they get rowdy they have a dart shot at their bum. How is that any scarier than the literal zombie apocalypse. The United States government officially has a plan dedicated to this one extinction event.
