Was scammed out of 103000 gold trying to transfer gold to retail from wrath. Don’t know what to do or how to get this resolved.
You can file a ticket, but to set expectations, you won’t get the gold back and bilzz may punish the other party, but you’ll never know that.
Live and learn.
Bad news is blizzard not gona return the gold what u did was a unsuported transaction at most the player will get actioned if it can be proven via ingame logs.
Also you dont know where the gold is coming from and where the player got the gold alot of these so called safe transactions player B was geting gold thru illicent means hate to tell you this but if this is the case u mite be getting a suspension.
The exchange of gold or items with another player on a different realm or faction is entirely at your own risk and is unsupported. These types of trades are often associated to the trade of real money for in-game items/currency, which is against our policy, and accounts found associated to these services will have gold removed as well as other possible account actions including up to account closure.
While we will review reports of scams between legitimate players and take action against scammers to remove them from our game, losses will not be restored.
We advise to avoid these types of trades unless you know the other player closely and absolutely trust them.

A scam is the act of acquiring items or any other possession from another player through misinformation, confusion, or fraud. Confirmed scammers risk account suspension or closure. Take appropriate measures to protect yourself, as we do not restore items or gold in these situations.
If we can verify a scam took place, we will take appropriate actions against the reported account.
Protect Yourself
- Don’t give items, gold, or guild bank permissions to anyone you don’t trust.
- Double-check prices in the auction house.
- Blizzard employees will never ask you for items or gold.
- Don’t purchase game or item codes with in-game currency.
If you are the victim of a scam, report them so we can stop it from happening again!
I am sorry to hear that, Sqwiest. We do have policies against scamming so I highly recommend that you submit a scam report if you haven’t already. Kyzera provided the link in her post.
As noted though, we are unable to return the gold that you may have lost, but if the scam is verified the person who received it won’t profit from it either. Along with a suspension or account closure, the gold is usually removed as well.
