Player was selling last 2 bosses at 850k gold. Once in group he left as per most sellers then group goes into constant wipes/prog raiding. Scamming players into having to prog. Guild were the playters doing the “carrying” requesting action be taken and if possible a refund due to blatant lying about carries and selling runs based on lies.

They refused to respond, refund or give pro-rated rate for 1 boss killed. The entire Guild is in on the scam. Requesting serious action be taken on them and a refund on the Gold they essentially scammed/stole doing this. One player out of guild accepted the gold to attempt hiding of the Scam. Player themselves that sold was not in the raid group.

Firstly, call outs are not allowed on the forums.

This is reportable. If they’re advertising you can right click report them if they’re not actually participating.

You can report them for scamming, and they will be investigated and punished if appropriate, but Blizzard will not act as a debt collector. Carries are unsupported, therefore at your own risk.

World of Warcraft®

To report a player in World of Warcraft:

  1. Select the player’s character and right-click the target character portrait or right-click the player’s name in chat
  2. Click Report Player
  3. Select the most appropriate option
  4. Click Report

A scam is the act of acquiring items, services, or any other possession from another player through misinformation, confusion, or fraud.

Boosting services are not supported by Blizzard but if you are the victim of a scam, contact us. Customer support cannot restore any of your losses, but will take action against confirmed scammers whenever possible so they won’t scam other players.

Customer support will never ask you for items or gold.
