Scale ILVL for Solo Queue

The time commitment on Solo Queue and the amount of impact individuals have on a match make the experience atrocious when new level 60 characters join. I recently had a druid with 20k health join and it ruined the entire experience.

Scaling iLVL in Solo Queue pretty much solves this problem entirely. Solo Queue can be a good way to learn your class and the arena environment, but poor gear can make the experience bad for everyone.

Not suggesting iLVL scaling for all PVP - just Solo Queue. When I have 20 minutes to play, I don’t want to roll the dice that someone is still gearing their new lvl 60 toon.

Current scaling is fine (252), people not queing with PvP trinket bonus is not

Oh, they do. It was originally 239 and now it’s 252 or something. Some gear seems unaffected, though, as I have seen some people with actually no gear.

It’s an experimental mode, though, and I’d kind of like to see them bump 200+ ilev pieces to 275-280 or even 285. Shuffle feels fun when games aren’t all ending in the first 10 seconds where the one small guy gets bodied.

The gear will be less of an issue when its gonna be rated, if you’re at high mmr you’ll expect people to be geared every game

Yeah, whenever it’s rated you’ll have the progression be like low mmr is honor gear and bad players who’ve played a lot and have some conquest gear, then you climb higher and everybody has as much conq gear as they can get.
