Questing was good
Stories were good
Dungeons were good
Raids were good (minus DS)
My class/race combo was born.
I liked getting legendary daggers as a rogue.
I remember questing in Hyjal and being so excited.
Cataclysm is where I started. I have fond memories since I had never seen a game like this. Still playing.
Cataclysm has the best opening theme and login screen WoW ever made.
Giant killer dragon on top of a castley looking city, skies burning, fire going around, roars being completely silent while still being able to shake the screen (
)
And itâs when Bari (the character) was born. ![]()

Mmm⌠Takes me right back. Good times.
This would be less awkward if i can actually link stuff, but i guess Blizzard hates me.
Shame they will mess it up somehow, but a glass must be half full until it becomes half empty.
For me the key point of Cata was getting more race and class combos that didnât exist previously which I absolutely loved and eventually lead us to where we are today where we have even more race and class combos which to me is wonderful.

Dwarf shaman finally
Uldum is still one of my favorite zones, both aesthetically, as well as the leveling.
It had good dungeons (until Blizzard nerfed them).
âsomething nice about Cataclysmâ

what do i win?
It wasnât SL.
huh, this is a tough one.
/sigh, Iâve got nothing.
more seriously, I like the twilight highlands, I guess.
I almost gave up swimming IRL because of Vashjâir.
Vashjir is a great zone. It was fun and interesting and unique, and I loved leveling up there right up until I was basically forced to choose Mount Hyjal to level up in for Molten Front unlock.
Come at me, haters!
Heroics were great pre-nerf and the first raid tier was absolutely amazing. I also really enjoyed the move to triage healing for healers and healed and raided on priest/paladin/shaman. Fun times
-Playable Goblins and Worgen.
-New race/class combos.
-The Day Deathwing Came questline.
-MU Stonemaul Clan getting some more time in the spotlight in Dustwallow Marsh and Feralas.
-Dunemaul Clan joining the Horde in Tanaris.
Those are all my favorite things in Cataclysm I can think of currently. ![]()

Mount Hyjal as well as the dailies there were amazing. Deepholm and Vashjir were incredibly well done. Firelands was amazing. Class design was great as well
Cataclysm was great. (Change my mind, but the joke is you canât)
Worgen & Goblins are very cool.
I only wish they did more with them, narratively speaking.
Worgen only now, (a few weeks ago) get to reclaim their home.
Meanwhile we get glimpses of Undermine, but no actual city. We got to do Motherlode in BFA, that was the last time we saw it.
Also, Nâzoth basically started existing in Cataclysm, with hints about him from the underwater zones.
All the content around the Firelands raid was decent.
Yep. Thatâs it.
