Because premades depend on stomping pugs to rank. Exactly.
Um, there were premade AV’s in Vanilla. It just wasn’t the meta, but neither was Horde playing scorched earth.
BTW, it wasn’t “illegal.” No one went to jail.

I see them do it all the time, but perhaps they’re bots who knows.
There’s an Alliance 3 boxer mage that does absolutely nothing with his two other characters. They just follow.
You cannot /follow in a battleground. It is disabled. Try it in/out and you will see.
I understand. But I’m telling you I see boxers following.
This mage’s followers don’t even dismount. Ever.
Multiboxers exist in BGs for sure, I’m not sure how they do it because I don’t multibox but I’ve seen them. One of them would sit in AV and got all of his five mages to rank 14.
You are correct that the OP doesn’t know what he’s talking about with the buying spots and multiboxing though.
Save Classic? Naxx is coming out in December, we’re on the other side already. You might see some people coming back for Naxx but from now until TBC you will only see less people pvp’ing not more.
If Classic is going to just progress through all the expansions again, then what was the point of Classic? It’s not even like old world where the stuff just isn’t there anymore.
Do you really think removing premades will actually “fix pvp”?
You will still get nuked by mages, and shamans.
You will still get destroyed by rogues.
Druids will still fc, and you will never catch up to them.
You will still get got by Warriors.
Paladins will still never die.
And Warlocks will still chain fear you into nonexistence.
Classic is broken. Just accept it, and stop blaming somebody else’s superior coordination skills.
Premades dont “depend” on stomping pugs, they “depend” on winning games efficiently and quickly by creating a team that is optimized for winning the BGs, they also “depend” on the fact they share the same queue pool as everyone else pvping meaning their queue times are comparable to solo/partial premades and they aren’t forced to wait an eternity in queue for another full premade to also queue.
"There were premades in vanilla AV " is not an argument, there was NEVER the option to queue as a premade in vanilla, they never intended for players to premade in AV, any “premades” in vanilla were just as illegitimate then as they are in classic.
Your “they’re were premades in vanilla AV” argument is pretty like saying “there were hackers in vanilla” to justify hackers in classic, just because it existed doesn’t mean it was condoned
Somebody told him about the pool size boosting last week and he’s had a hard on for it ever since.
And there wasn’t in Classic. People queue sync’d.
There wasn’t even an exploit let alone a hack. WTF are you on about?? People used the queue system and voice in a way that wasn’t prohibited by Blizzard. Or is using disc and leaving queue suddenly “illegal”? LOL
If blizzard intended for people to premade in AV they would have let you queue in raid groups, but they specifically left that feature out of AV because they DIDN’T want people to premade AV.
The way the “premades” in classic AV were being created was completely unintended by the devs, and it was entirely 1 sided, horde could NOT create premades while the alliance could.
Are you really going to cry about blizzard fixing an exploit that made it so that only one faction was able to form cross faction premades in a BG that was NEVER intended to support premades in the first place while simultaneously crying and petitioning for blizzard to force premades to only face other premades in other BGs?
Hypocritical much?
Um, no one cried about it. YOU were the one claiming Blizzard wanted people to premade and play together, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Except when they don’t, apparently.
WSG and AB both allow you to queue in a raid group of players.
AV ONLY had solo queue in vanilla, and ONLY 5 man queue was added in classic after this change to still allow people to play together in a small group to compensate for not being able to pick the same AV as a friend in the game browser.
If blizzard wanted full premades in AV they would have put in the option to queue in raid groups. they however specifically DIDN’T.
Its pretty simple
You keep saying things everyone already knows. Blizzard doesn’t want premades in AV.
All this has nothing to do with having premades face premades and pugs face pugs.
Nothing about that would stop you from forming a premade. You just want to stomp pugs.
The entire vanilla wow pvp honor systems meta has always been about farming honor in premades more efficiently than solo players , it is a COMPETITIVE system by design where you are competing for limited spots in the ranking brackets within your own faction, those that form groups to be efficient will do better than those that try and do it solo
Dont like it? Dont pvp in classic
We all know the system is complete garbage, thats why it was immediately changed
But this is vanilla emulation, take it or leave it, you knew what you were getting into before the servers even went live
Level 59, rank 10 this week and I DO premade from time to time. And yeah, it’s for the purpose of stomping Horde. It wouldn’t matter to me if they separated premades and pugs - in fact it makes sense. Your whining about competitive pvp and ranking and on and on has NOTHING to do with your premades facing other premades.
That couldn’t possibly bother you unless your premade team sucks.
And you prove to be another idiot that doesn’t seem to understand that making premades only able to face other premades would completely DESTROY group pvp in bgs because the honor per hour would be terrible compared to solo queue even if you had the best premade in the world simply because of queue times, let alone match duration
Vanilla wow ranking has been and always will be about playing in a premade if you want to succeed
They aren’t going to rework the entire vanilla honor and pvp system to cater to people that “think they do but they dont” when it comes to pvp in classic
What server has 250k cap? just curious. There are gold seller company guilds selling AFK botting premades, they just queue nonstop and lose every game in 6 minutes, then the player logs in next day and turns in all the consolation marks. They get like 200k honor a week just afk queueing 6 minute losses and turning in marks. With a 250k bracket someone could easily double if they just played one day and afkbotted the rest. I think they have some kind of way for all 10 or all 15 to suicide at the start and no rez, so horde couldn’t even target them to report them (even if they wanted to).
Report system is so stupid btw, sorry bout tangent but there are so many zg and herb teleport bots that are hard to target and report, they teleport back to town and log out. you need a damn script to report them before they disappear. Hire some gms or improve autodetection FFS lol
My server has alot of goldseller guilds idunno what drew them here. Maybe higher numbers of buyers? Anyways on my server there are 2 goldseller guilds that clear aq40 on alliance and idunno how many on horde.
