I’m just over here praying that some how they will unlock the server and let us just go about our business. I like seeing people I recognize and not constantly encountering crowds.
I’ve never had an issue finding groups unless the “issue” is that I can’t instantly find something and need to wait 5 minutes or so.
I don’t get why they would do this; it would make more sense to offer xfers off the mega servers… this is about resources saved by having less servers…shame blizzard.
People saying Chaos Bolt was “busy” are out of their mind. There is like a 2-3 hour window every night where you can MAYBE find a Gnomer PUG. Last day of the lockout? Good luck finding even a handful forming. The server was dying. Good move by Blizz.
Crazy awful decision. Just like Deviate Delight in classic this was our “perfect” server. no-one on our server wants this. Reverse this decision.
At this point, the damage has already been done. It’s like when a bank puts an emergency pause on all transactions, a bank run is already inevitable if they resume service.

I really hope they either allow us to transfer to any other server or they allow people from CS to come to Chaos Bolt. My guild just managed to fill our 20M raiding roster for P3 and now we have to transfer with no guarantee we’ll all be able to go to the same faction on a new server? I’ll also sadly lose my characters names. I love the community of Chaos Bolt and I haven’t had any issues with finding groups for any content. Here’s to hoping blizzard doesn’t go through with shutting down chaos bolt. o7

Very unfortunate. I stayed away from WoW for 10 years since WotLK and recently decided to give SoD a go. While it had it’s up’s & down’s; I was happy with the server I chose and the people I interacted with. The reason I didnt choose Crusader Strike was because I didn’t want to be on that server in the first place, it was too high pop. One thing that resonated to me was someone mentioning 40-man raids. While I dont see that feasible in SoD let alone CB, I get the feeling that’s the end goal for a decision like this. After playing for multiple months, it’s hard for me to want to continue playing in phase3.

Granted you’d be starting fresh and it is RP-PVE, but it’s still better than Crusader Strike. Can’t imagine being forced there…
