As it turns out, with a bigger population I can actually find more people to group with when im not at work amazing how that works out.
Apparently 5000 people is not enough for a server anymore lol

TBF, they were very clear early on in SoD that they werenât going to let this happen again.
The writing has been on the wall since they unlocked Crusader Strike three days into Phase 1. Chaos Boltâs fate was sealed that moment, when it only had 3 days to gain any meaningful population whatsoever.
But I never thought Blizzard would act THIS early. Definitely feels premature.

If you couldnât find a raid at 6AM crusader strike was always there waiting for you. No reason to shut the rest of us down because you were having a hard time at a specific time of day when options already exist for you.

On a positive note âŚ
I just transferred all my ally toons over to CS, which is giving me an error in logging in. But then I made a level 1 ally (with all my horde toons there too) and it let me login. Seems theyâre lifting the deal of having both factions on the same server which is a plus. I wonât have to remake my lock, rogue, druid, etc.
To those of you impacted by this though ⌠I am sorry. I have very fond memories from my time on Chaos Bolt. Shirt definitely being one of them as well as the punkface (or whatever) gnome warlock who used to coordinate groups for Ashenvale. Very tight knit community. I left because it got frustrating trying to find groups for raids etc in the later hours of the night.

I dont play on chaos bolt and I feel like this is complete nonsense to do.
How is 5000+ people bad? We have wrath servers with 5000 people since 2 years and they still are alive just as well.

The ship wasnât sinking until Blizzard blew a hole in it. Once again, youâve had the option to go there ever since you ran into this problem and instead chose to continue investing time in this âsinking ship.â

CB was fine, this is a perfect example of blizzard listening to the VOCAL minority. It was the perfect server. I was already on the fence about quitting with dual specs but with our server getting the kill shot. They should have actually talked to people that play the game and not just the elitest raid loggers. CB was fineâŚbloodmoon was packed i got 2600 coins yesterday if thatâs any sign of how active it isâŚDamn im furious.
Like, yesterday after the announcement of p3 our server was packed full, is it a damn sin to play on a server without 25 layers ffs

my entire guild is xferring because this anouncement was blizzards intention to kill the server, its less like a free xfer to north korea and more like a free xfer from a small town to a neighboring big city, where the person footing the bill for the xfer is stopping anyone new from moving in guaranteeing the small town will die

Theres nothing wrong with having one/two healthy layers instead of 10. Itâs actually preferable to many, thatâs why weâre here.
