Sargeras did nothing wrong!

Ok, there’s going to be a lot to discuss here.

Sylvanas is in league with the Jailer and started a war with the sole purpose of killing as many things as possible to fuel the Jailer and herself.

Death is the only thing the Void fears.

N’Zoth has been released and is of the Void.

Sargeras was attempting to corrupt as many beings as possible into fel-tainted demons.

Demons do not go to the Shadowlands when they die.

The Titans created Stone, Metal and Mechanized creatures that became cursed/gifted with the Curse/Gift of Flesh (Curse or Gift depending on the person’s point of view on the matter).

The Old Gods, Void Creatures, are the source of the Curse/Gift of Flesh.

Azeroth is a Titan waiting to hatch, and is likely corrupted by the Void.

Azeroth also has a nexus that ties it to the Shadowlands.

So in essence the Titans created constructs that could not die, as they had no souls. However the Curse of Flesh made these entities mortal. They bred and became numerous. Now, when those entities die, they empower an aspect of Death. So why would the Void, that fears Death, create something that empowers Death?

Sargeras found a way to stop the empowerment of Death by corrupting the souls of mortals and turning them into Demons. He also was involved in the creation of the Lich King, which holds mastery over Undeath. Is Undeath a form of Death? Or is it the destruction of Death?

We’re going to defeat N’Zoth early in the expansion, and then have to deal with the Jailer/Sylvanas. Caelia will likely take over as the leader of the Forsaken.

Sargeras will ultimately be released to deal with the Jailer.

i called it years ago that Sargeras is a good guy just looking out for life on azeroth…he just had a crappy job :\

This is exactly what the loyalists have been saying

Sargeras does not think he’s evil

He’s killing the beings he does think are evil

We think the alliance are evil therefore we don’t care if their families burn in that tree house

Same thing

Yes he did,
Azeroth did not give consent before he did that thing with his sword

You almost got me until

Blizz confirmed during Blizzcon that this will not happen.

Does that mean that KilJaedan, Archimonde, and GulDan are good too?

Quote? Because, afaik there was no mention of this. At all. If anything the datamining all but confirms the push for Calia to be the Leader.

This is a really tough question to answer. its not Sargeras’s fault he’s demonic. But its also not all of Azeroth’s fault they empower death. But Blizz made the demons evil, and I dont get why some people can’t exept protagonism and antagonism

Sargeras, Arthas, Gul’dan, Frandal, Neltharion, Blackhand, Grommash … from what I see, no genocidal, warmonger or conqueror does something that can be considered wrong

In real life, yes, but in a game, its no fun if every is good

I find Sargeras a good antagonist, and we really dont have to delve deep into the history of WoW unless we plan on somehow transporting ourselves into Azeroth and starting a riot about demon injustice

He put a hole in Azeroth. For that he got life imprisonment. Fitting punishment for his crimes!

This is from Q&A but as you look into it you’ll see others that say she will join Horde for a different reason, so we’ll see.

I believe this is an important point. If we all become demons, we are no longer bound to the shadowlands, we simply die and reform in the twisting nether. If Dreadlords really did used to be natives of the Shadowlands, then this was probably part of their plan to free themselves from death. And if we all reform any time we die, we’re free to destroy all titan world-souls without fear of death.

I’d laugh so hard if it end up the legion created the lich king to combat the void is the legion master plan.

That… is a super dodgy answer.

Gonna stop you right there. If Sargeras and the Legion really did believe what they were doing was right, then they wouldn’t have relished in the mass torture of individuals like Saturday morning cartoon villains.

I’m sorry, but an army of big obnoxious demons who can’t shut up about how I’m just a “mortal” and how my “doom is imminent” or how “even a fraction of their power will be enough to destroy me” are obvious villains and deserve to die.

People who actually believe atrocities are necessary for the preservation of the greater good tend to do so with a sense of… you know, humility?

Please See; Thanos.

Do you really think that everyone following Thanos was all about the balance? Or were some (most) of them all about being the biggest, baddest army in the universe and just wanting to kill a lot of people? Do you really think that Generic Thanos Soldier #3778246-B-5 was REALLLLLLY all that “the ends justify the means”?

I mean, the M.O. of the Burning Crusade was “corrupt, seduce, bribe, coerce and when those fail, DESTROY!”

They ALWAYS start with the corruption, THEN the destruction.

Which didnt make sense because he was trying to purge corruptible planets/races.
