I only went to uni there but I am shaking with rage for this insult to the proud, smog choked hellhole of Düsseldorf.
Much more accurate for Wolfsburg.
Also Shadowlands only made this worse, all the new Maldraxxus spell effects are so perfect for necromancers, as is the armor. I was on the verge of making a forsaken frost mage just to use that armor for a while.

Funnily enough lich are in the same boat as San’layn but doing a bit better as we see a few of them on mainland Azeroth working with the Ebon Blade. Meaning we have green-aligned liches so it’s not out of the realm of possibility they could be playable like the forsaken, DK, etc. They’d make for a cool similar story I’d love for vampyr elves (the one similar to DK, where some do decide to join the living and fight with them for Azeroth).
The only time we see friendly San’layn (to HORDE) is BfA, Alliance questline, unfortunately. Which is a bummer.
I’d be much more in support of a Northrend revamp than dragons.
Not anything any Belf player should want. Our city in ruins is not for your amusement.
If it’s war torn it won’t be “aesthetically pleasing.”

BFA had a surprising amount of Lich content (besides the plethora of friendly Liches this xpac) where we saw racially unique Liches for the first time as well as non Scourge Liches.
So you could have racial lich models as the hero class customisation for necromancer.

A Lich based spec could have a similar mechanic to the demon form that demonology use to have.
I have supported us getting both and I still do, it’s why I often put both into my posts or link from this thread to the Dark Ranger thread and vice versa here from there because really it should be San’layn and Dark Rangers as Allied Races for the Horde or San’layn and Dark Rangers as customizations for Blood Elves and the Horde but only for us.

I have seen a bit of speculation that Darkfallen will be a neutral race using Blood Elf models and Night Elf models for their respective factions. I think that would be a bit of a nightmare if that were to happen.
They would essentially just be the Elvish Ebon Blade. Due to parity between the two we would lose out on a lot of potential story. You can say goodbye to their personality and we would be stuck with another bland form of elf.

That would require Blizzard to remember dwarves exist as more than a single stray side character, and we all know that’s not happening. Look at the Dark Iron weapon quest on the PTR vs the blood elf one which YES I AM NOW A BIT WELL-SEASONED OVER… But on the other hand, it’s nice and safe in the lore hole.
