I never understood Blizzards excuse about Death Knights to be honest cause it sounded like one of those forum whiners wrote it or something, they’ve redone levels on abilities time and time again and changed locations for where people start time and time again but not the Death Knight thats perma locked in time to the second expansion? just add levels onto some of there abilities and possibly level change the talent tree and bam level 20 Death Knights, it would work for races like Dark Irons possibly as well as the San’layn if ever added, possibly Void Elves as well (im sketchy on that cause of the Void v Death magic area).
Can’t say its impossible when they’ve made so called impossible changes in the past.
1: the vulpera are the little foxes in the desert
2: the alliance have no interaction with them at all except for forming a roaming death squad whose goal is to kill any vulpera on sight so they would never side with them.
Not to mention, goblins and Worgen were not in the Horde at the time of the quest to turn into the warchief or king, yet do the same join quest as the other death knights anyway. It makes no sense, including how the quest actually switches hands between changes and isn’t accurate to lore either. At this point, that one minor issue is what’s keeping some DKs I think which really shouldn’t due to it already not being accurate for the factors I mentioned.
By Lich King’s burning pubes, I love the sound of this. Not only does it make sense, it’s been ten years since we had an undeath related expansion! We’ve had three (or two and half) demon/burning legion expansion packs (BC, WoD, and Legion) and only one undead one. San’layn would be the perfect undead allied race (or one of them) to segue into the next expansion. Please be about undeath. crosses fingers.
Yeah, I don’t know how exactly we’re going to get to that point and I also don’t think it will be full on return to Northrend. Like… we could go UNDERNEATH! Northrend. There’s still some Old God/Yogg, Nerubian, Shadowlands stuff that can be explored. Only about 11 months until we find out!
Make Sylvanas the actual Lich Queen for the lolz, get her to raise Kael, make him Blood King, get the Sanlayn into the Horde, make all the Orc Warriors cry about “True Horde”. Okay, this last part is clearly just self-indulgent bs but I do still think we’ll get our vampire elves.
Isn’t there also a being so immensely dangerous being that also resides in the Shadowlands that was mistaken as a Loa and even made a deal with Odyn who is arguably the most power Titan Watcher on the planet?.
EDIT: Found his name it is Ueetay no Mueh’zala or just the last part for short, he’s the Loa of Death and his form is truly unknown since it changes, Bwomsamdi is the Loa of the Grave and Dead not Death so could see stuff relating to him.
I’d love to go explore the shadowlands more. We went into the Emerald Dream so I’m sure we’re capable of delving into that. However, I’d rather have it be a zone or something fun to go through, not just a silly raid. I liked Emerald Nightmare as a raid I guess, but it could have been so much more interesting.
It is? I completely forgot when they said it at Blizzcon. For some reason I thought it was one of the 8.2 things but I could be very wrong. I hope it’s this patch, and that there’s some lore attached to it.
Not to bring the mood down, but I’d like to ask for some prayers for my big brother. He’s in the hospital with non-hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer and is getting chemotherapy. He’ll be in the hospital throughout Christmas.
Regarding the Heritage Armor I believe we could incorporate different styles into it for the various classes!
For example, the cloth classes could receive something Blood Prince related. I’m talking robes that would fit an undead race as regal and vain as the San’layn. Qualia’s interpretation would be a great example.
Leather/Mail wearers could receive a badass trenchcoat (think Underworld movies). Of course the mail version would be more armored than it’s leather counterpart under the coat (Think Nathanos’ new model but with a little more armor). Black metal with some dark red trim would work nicely.
Plate Wearers could get a full suit of armor that’s both decorative (engraving, gilding etc) and functional (Full gothic plate with chainmail underneath). The Blood King’s royal guards need to look like they mean business!
And of course all versions would receive the iconic San’layn mask.
While the concept is good and would be a good thing it eats up there resources to imagine up 4 distinct heritage armour designs which cannot match all races if we’re being honest, like if they released the Mogu tomorrow they couldn’t do 4 distinct armours without making up entirely new ones because only one setup thats similar exists atm, its probs better to go the Castlevania or Vampiric look for the San’layn for the most part to work for all classes, maybe a little bit of under armour like chain mail beneath the robe?.
Love the idea of Castlevania for the heritage armor. I think that series is doing vampires justice majorly, and of course the dracula look is a must have. You think San’layn would be able to have goatees and such like Dracula? It would only be fair and make sense.
