Thanks hehe. I try, I saw other threads and figured why not for San’layn. Here we are now. I am surprised it’s more well received than I thought too, I figured that because of roleplayers hating San’layn, it’d be hated on more.

Yep that’s me! Hehe no joke at all! I have a Tumblr but I only use it for my roleplay toon profiles and some stories. I need to get working on those again for sure.

You’ve fully converted me from just wanting Undead Elves to needing Sanlayn. Unfortunately, I don’t have faith in Blizz to make them as awesome and customizable as they are in that video. I play a Nightborne after all :frowning:

Yeah I agree. Still! Giving suggestions could help get some in. In the very least we can get people like you hyped for the idea. And say we tried! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I love vampire lore (not Twilight trash!) And would love to see Blizzard’s take on it expanded.

For those of us who like the “tear marks” Sylvanas has maybe we could have a more extreme tear like markings (like thinner, lighter, but down the face more).

Aso, how would people like it if San’layn had long boney fingers like from Nosferatu the silent film from 1922?

While I have no ideas to add to the opening post I will toss my support in for playable San’layn becoming a thing it would only make sense that like the Valkyr they would look for a means to be of use to another leader with the death of Arthas.

Yeah actually I think the video I made with Qualia’s art showed options like that for suggestions! It would make them very unique and probably offer people what they want.

Oh right! I think it would be a cool option, it would make them quite bat-like if they did that too. Along with long claws I think it could definitely add to the creep factor for sure. I’m not a fan of the Nosferatu look as a whole but I think the fingers bit would definitely be appropriate. Hmm I think we see the Blood Princes with long claws, but they could definitely expand on the whole bat-like/boney fingers idea.

I for one would love to see Kirtonos the Herald be their “hidden” progenitor and leader he was a vampire-like boss in the original Scholomance even though he had an Forsaken model that could easily be updated to reflect more Elvish one not unlike the upgrades that Nathanos Blightcaller has been given to be less rotting corpse to more fresh looking undead.
For that matter make the transformation their races flying mount. true it would cause some complaining from demon hunter players but eh…
