I hope you continue this thread. If nothing else, it may send a message that we won't be intimidated by trolls. Still, from what I understand of the new forums, I understand why you wouldn't want to risk actions being taken against your account.
I will continue--I asked the San'layn discord community and they voted strongly for keeping up the megathreads. Therefore, while I am tentative, I won't let my nerves get me down. I set out to give people a chance to share their ideas on the Allied Race I love and would really enjoy seeing added to the game, and I intend on keeping it up until I get told to stop by Blizzard. I will be non-toxic, as I always have been.
Hey, one good thing is that I can format the first post to look fancy, so we got that going for us :P

No, they are just high elves, we already have Blood Elf DKs. We don't need this race end of discussion. If Alliance can't get High Elves nobody can get elves. These arguments are stupid and pointless. High Elves for allies would make 100000x more sense, giving them blood elves with blue eyes. BUT NOOOOOOOO

How would you like it if I said the same thing on your threads? "If the Horde can't get San'layn, then the Alliance can't get High Elves. San'layn for the Horde would make 100000x more sense." It's just bad taste and rudeness all around with these two posts. I don't encourage my community to say that sort of thing on your threads, in fact I have aided in clearing up confusion in favor of High Elves in a recent post of mine due to a misconception.
Frankly, I don't care about what you want 'first' or what you think 'makes sense'. I'm here to advocate for San'layn, whether you get High Elves or not. If communities want to be respectful toward me, I will return the favor. Otherwise, I will point out how rude this sort of thing is when I see it. This is a San'layn thread. Not a 'High elves before any other race' thread.

So your saying its better to give alliance blood elves instead of giving the horde sanlayn and dark rangers which they had... And our beloved warchief is? All warchiefs races have been playable and undead elves should be too as an allied race.

That's fine, and I apologize for that particular wording. I'm just sick of, at times, seeing that spammed on my threads, or things devolving into chaos. I've worked with your community discords, at least, and I know many lovely people. To be fair, I meant 'you guys' toward the two I quoted, not toward the entire community, I should clear that up right here. They certainly aren't painting a good picture for the High Elf community, but nor are any AR supporters really who go grief on other threads (including mine, if ever they do that, which I try to discourage as much as possible. But I can't police).
Also, want to point out that it isn't a game of 'me first!' (this part is directed at those two). In the case of San'layn, I don't expect them anytime soon, and if we get told no, at least we tried. But these threads are intended to share ideas on the race and the lore that could follow, and perhaps inspire thought if the devs ever want to see what the community comes up with. AR threads aren't demands, they're idea-sharing tools.

the "if we can't have our toy, nobody else can have theirs" mentality is pretty immature, you aren't doing any good for your fellow high elf supporters by acting rude to others with little to no motive.

...Right, well you can continue to be an embarrassment to your community (note how I'm not saying 'for') and we'll carry on with what we've been doing.
Now then. With the new forums coming up, I will be updating that first post as well with the current stories and speculations. I still have that huge updated list, which will help us, perhaps I can format things to look a bit fancier too.

Thank you! Some people just like to come in in the conversations with a bad attitude and prioritizing what they want, even when the conversation is about something else. It's not a "me first" issue at all, it's about talking about the things we would like to see in game, and I find in very bad form that people go into other AR threads claiming that because they are not getting theirs, neither should you.
All I can say to people like that is try to be better and not be bitter to other players that are asking for something else. Play nice people, we are all in this together.

Oh lets! maybe it's time I also make some San'layn concepts -but tbh what has been already shared here has been so good IDK if I can bring something new hehehe-

I'm sure we can brainstorm based on the new styles based on that Lana'thel's quill! That style is great and can inspire new ideas. Also called it, we knew San'layn had heavy bat-like themes.

honestly, im almost giving up.... i still wish for san'layn as an allied race, A LOT...but even by some miracle IF we get them in the future, i really dont trust blizzard gonna make that badass san'layn we all want with the different ideas people suggested, heritage armor and blablabla...
they would probably look similar to the dark rangers elfs of sylvannas, their skeleton would be the same as blood elf, i really doubt blizzard would use the original skeleton of the san'layn, i mean, the one the blood prince possess.
Im 100% san'layn would not have wings or some racial skill to make them fly...and im saying this because demon hunters didnt get the all time showing wings, not even a glyph to make them fly (like monks have) cause blizzard is lazy...
And last problem, and a very big one... class? blood dk is the only spec i can imagine myself playing with the vampire fantasy of san'layn...but even then, we all know the truth, that blood dks are boring to play and definetely dont give the feelings it should give to players...

we are here to advocate for San'layn. they do not sparkle in the sunlight and they most certainly do not live off of animal blood. if anything the High Elves would be more akin to Twilight since they decided to not follow the norm of their society (blood elves feasting on the mana of living creatures) and decided to only get their mana fix by sucking on arcane crystals provided by the kirin tor.
