I will receive tons of backlash for this.
What if, instead of being able to play with just a handful of people because of team size caps, what if they gave us all personal rating and we could play with anyone on the server? Not even region wide, just server wide.
Attached this from my later post:
This is my own personal experience, but I have friends with varying degrees of skill when it comes to arena. I can’t invite them all to my 3s team to play when I know they’re only capable of 1800, and we’re trying to push 2.2k. 5s is no different.
Say for instance I decide to leave my 3s, just to play a different comp, not because of synergy or toxicity… My partners would either disband the team or find another person to fill the spot. Meaning they would be hesitant to invite me back, and for good reason. I would think the same way.
I would love to be able to play any comp I wished without fear of leaving someone behind in personal rating or % played. It’s really suffocating having to stick with just one 3s team, and one 5s team.
Having arena teams makes zero sense if you’re after a sense of community. Let us all get our own personal rating, and keep it server wide.

Hard no from me. Exactly what killed arena for me personally in retail

TBC didn’t have boostie boys either, while not all changes are good how would this one negatively impact the community?

The game improving killed it for you? Weird take, but ok
idc negative or positive boost should not have happened neither should this
we dont want an improved tbc we want tbc
Luckily blizzard doesn’t believe in #nochanges, so this “leave it original” attitude is simply meaningless. I believed releasing classic was an opportunity for them to make the game better, how it should have been.
yes luckily blizzard will keep changing the game for the worse
the current team brought you system lands and you want them ‘improving’ tbc
you wont get a better game. boosting has already crippled faction balance
Again, this #nochanges is nonsensical and has no place in this kind of discussion. It isn’t a reason to not do something. Really, think about that.
it is a reason. you people have only made the game worse. we dont trust you.
stop touching it we didnt come here for your ‘improvements’ we came here for the tbc experience
actually we prefer it better. best being even better.
no we dont. having love for something means you love the bad alongside the good.
we love tbc.
you people just want instant gratification.
please stop

How is my suggestion instant gratification?
your kind is what’s stalling the game from achieving its true potential. we will see this expansion surpass all expectations and reach unimaginable new heights.
we dont want to see its game in ‘full potential.’ we have seen it after numerous iterations until it became retail.
we dont want your ‘fixes’ or ‘improvements’ you have no idea what is best for this game.
just f off
#nochanges isn’t what’s best for the game
we find your heresy and blasphemy offensive. we will drive out all thee who are prideful and do not bow.
then play a different game.
not everybody has to like tbc
I love tbc, actually. I’ve played since original release day one and I am playing classic full time. Personal rating same server arenas, I believe, is a much needed change. Same for dual spec.
