But since pvp and pve sets share appearance, I think it’s pretty understandable why people assumed the pvp appearance was going to come back as well.
If it’s that easy to assume, blizz should have clarified (why not do so? It would’ve taken 1 sentence in the vote post).

As someone who has some elite sets, and almost every MT weapon, i can say this: if you have the opportunity to have it, you wont steal my “prestige”

It’d be awesome if we can get back to the point of the post which is a desire for communication from Blizzard clarifying why PVP was excluded from tier mog voting that didn’t state otherwise. Not feeding the trolls.
I too expected voting to set the stage for both the PVE and PVP transmog sets for S4. If not for the sets as they were, which is kind of lazy, then at least a recolor for the season. It’s why they were “trying something new.” I don’t think I should need the last decade of knowledge about Blizzard’s stance on elite mog sets especially given how much their cosmetics pushes have changed in the last year alone with TCG loot, the trading post etc. Those aren’t the same but to hold up an article from 2017 and assume people 1) know what it is and 2) is still the law of the land is absurd.
The decision doesn’t impact me since the only remaining elite mogs I want are S3 DK and DH sets which, drumroll please… returned for S4 despite it not being a real season. That said I sympathize with those who thought otherwise and personally thought it was a cool feature that could carry into future expansions.

I’ve got it already years ago, on almost every class and spec.
And i still did the new mage tower with all classes again, because i loved the sets.
Last season I’ve got the elite set in almost every class, except priest, and I’ve got 2.1 for the enchant.
And i also got every KSM and AOTC mount since i started playing (WoD)
And I still would be happy if you could have everything i have, it will never change the fact that i already have it.

elite sets are in the same group as challenge modes in terms of prestige
Season 4 is not an extension of Season 3. Otherwise, it would be called Season 3, and the previous season wouldn’t have ended.
This xpac has been extremely tough for PvPer’s in terms of participation and the rewards system. Addressing the whole “you are too lazy or not good enough to get the time limited at”: the elite sets are a major driver for participation and enables a critical part of the ladder range that allows the rating system to function optimally. As someone who has every appearance this xpac, this is NOT qq give me a free set. This is an ask to clarify why the vote does not apply to PvP and if this is an oversight.
If you are not part of the PvP community and don’t understand the sentiment behind it, then I don’t understand why the same couple of people are looking for all the different threads on here regarding this topic and giving a worthless opinion against us asking for communication about the type of game mode we enjoy.
