No, I don’t think that we should reward their laziness. They allowed us to vote for the appearance and they didn’t apply it across the entire season’s rewards.

Yeh I mean it’s more just going to be a gesture of good will on Bliz’s part if they try to fix this as there is very little power we have in this situation. Just have to hope that they have a look at it. Quite surprised that we haven’t heard anything from them though. :frowning:

I think there’s another issue. When I hit 2500 rating in M+, I expected to receive an item that unlocks additional transmogs for head and shoulder pieces but I don’t recall receiving that. I already have S2 and S3 ones unlocked but, since I didn’t play in S1, I don’t have the visual fx unlocked for classes using S1 appearance in S4. Obviously, I wouldn’t expect the token to unlock S1 transmog for classes that didn’t vote for it.

I’ve submitted a ticket for both issues. It’s really disappointing to end the expansion and my first fated season on a sour note with no communication at all. What’s so hard with a post confirming one way or another so I can adjust my plans accordingly?

There is no token to earn this season for appearance effects, since there are no new tier sets.

That’s partly true. For many players, the sets will be new to them. My hunter did not play S1 so it’s his first opportunity to earn the set by meeting the usual requirements.

Exactly, what was the point of the vote then? Or they just ignored pvp players?
Since we don’t even get recolors from recycled content, at least this should be fixed.

PvP did not get the old sets because historically the Arena forums kicked and whined about bringing back legacy elite sets, so Blizzard didn’t do it. As for this:

I sincerely don’t know what that means. Are you saying that since they didn’t bring back the sets, they should at least fix it and bring back the sets? Or are you saying PvP deserves a fourth pair of armor sets when there was only 3 sets made for the game, and they should at least bring back the removed sets because they didn’t do that?

No, not just in pvp. What we expect from a new season is at least some new content, but we receive a “Fated” again. The idea of a vote for the sets was ok, but without any explanation about it, it ended up being another disappointment.
If at least the vote served to bring new colors to the chosen sets, it would be much better. I mean, AT LEAST a recolor for recycled content. But no, there wasn’t even that.
And to top it off, the pvp sets were completely ignored, to the point where it seems like a game bug.

PvP getting new colors wouldn’t make sense, there were no new colors available at all. The vote could’ve certainly been better explained though, no disagreement with you there. I missed it because it wasn’t advertised in-game.

26 days, a WoW Community Council thread and still no notice or word from a blue, yet this MoP mini game that is staying only 3 months already got a rep nerf implemented. :joy:

It’s kind of surprising that they didn’t just add “working as intended, leaving thread up for informational purposes” to the bottom of the OP at this point, to be honest. Considering that what we got were nerfs in pandaland though… Maybe it’s better like this.

Still nothing new huh? I think I saw S1 elite hunter shoulder in my apperace tab as uncollected and im not using any wardrobe addons. I thought they would legit bring back Elite sets like we voted. I mean like they asked.

ye you probably won’t be able to see those once TWW starts i think, hate looking in my appearance tab just to see the s1 elite shoulders and helmet sitting there

Is that a bug? I thought it was intended before S4 disapointed us.

Seeing unavailable items in collections is probably more of an oversight than a bug, you can still see the original 4 phoenix mounts in the mount tab for instance. As for the season 1/2 sets not being available, that is not a bug, the sets released with Amirdrassil are labeled season 3 and 4.
