The elite sets do not come back, due to pushback from the PvP forums when they were floating the idea initially. The conquest set will be available next season for marks of honor, as it always is after the expansion, but the elite set cannot be earned for season 1 or 2, regardless of the vote results.
Psure they are just pretending nothing is wrong and just letting complaints die, as usual.

Not really…and keep in mind this isn’t me supporting or condemning the choice. They simply made it painfully clear they want the pvp season to repeat as it has in almost every end of season patch cycle.
I would of liked at least a new color for weapons and armor to work towards but im ok with the last season being a hit 2100 and relax season.

What? The Season 3 and 4 elite sets are the ones that are currently available, if you subbed for that reward it is very much what is currently there.

The currently available sets are listed as Season 3 and 4 PvP sets, the elite sets included. It is odd that they didn’t deign to respond to the thread, but it seems clear that this is indeed intended.
Just want to say that I agree, with most of the sentiment here in the fact that it feels that Blizzard, recurringly, doesn’t even acknowledge a lot of the PVP community/problems.
For ex. Mind Control DC’ing poeple has been a giant issue in rated PVP for maybe 10+ years now.
It feels like there is a huge lack of communication from the WOW team in general, but specifically this sentiment is widely shared amongst those who PVP.
This is the response I got from a GM. “So, I’ve had a look into this and from what I can see the voting was only for Raid/Dungeons sets, and not the PvP sets.”

Glad a GM FINALLY said something instead of beating around the bush. A blue post would have been more professional for everyone here, but at least we know now that it was “intentional.”
Those who want season 2 elite pieces you’re still able to get them by completing heroic aberrus on a toon that hasnt already gotten the feat of strength achievement, you will receive the draconic mark of mastery which you can turn in for any piece of elite gear but the cloak, waist and the wrists.
I’m not sure if this is a bug that we’re still able to get it even when season 2 is finished, if it isnt and they continue giving us marks of mastery in future expansions then we will be able to go back and get some elite pieces. The only problem is if you don’t do rated pvp then its one hell of a grind, requiring you to make 5 toons of the same class to get the pieces
