Very fair. If they do such a vote again, I certainly hope that they clean up a great deal. Be it the character-based voting instead of account, the lack of in-game awareness of the event or the specifics of how the chosen sets will operate wouldn’t go amiss.

The fact a simple question like this can go unanswered so long is kind of depressing. Shows the complete neglect of PvP by Blizzard.

If that was an AI response, I think we’re doomed.
If it was a human response, then the very small part of me holding on to hope that his was an oversight and they just have other priorities with remix, Cata, etc. that are preventing them from addressing this in a timely manner lives on.
I don’t want to repost the whole thing - but if you scroll up to my last post, I think the fact that the elite appearances being available for 5/6 set colors as long as you used the elite item on any character in the season that won the vote could indicate we actually have a shot.
I think that if this was a deliberate “no elite sets period” stance, then we wouldn’t be able to retroactively unlock elite appearances for 5/6 colors (including the base PvP color) from the previous seasons.

I’m Plagueghoul, and yeah it was a 90% AI response according to some Free AI Detector.
I will fight fire with fire, and just tell a ML model to write a polite response too to ensure the escalation is known to be necessary.
Kinda crazy too that I have S1, S2 and S3 elites on DK and Paladin - Regardless of outcome, I think I will be fine.
Side notes, AI being used by CS teams is now the norm in the industry. I still told the GM to please check twice their templates before sending messages.
They replied to me with a “%BattleNet:FirstName%” but eh, anybody can mess up in this digital age and era with tech.

i would just like to say i understand the whole not bringing back old sets but i dont agree that “recycling” last season, season 3 for season 4 excludes from this rule. I consider that also “bringing back” what you should have earned that season. Thats why i think this is frustrating because it feels like we bent the rules when asked to vote for something we wanted anyway. So i dont find that logic useful here when we brought back season 3’s appearance why not just bring back the one we voted for.

Stahpp, this is giving me hope 
The crucial difference remains that the season 3 and 4 set was never removed. Keeping a set for several seasons is something that has a great deal of precedent, simply go to the legion PvP vendors if you need confirmation of that. While you consider it to be bringing it back, Blizzard does not.

Without a Blizz statement, I feel we will all just agree to disagree. Legion, Shadowlands and previous seasons didn’t have a community vote either, so this claims are not proper precedent to the topic of the thread.

I understand what you are saying. I think that the only thing left I feel upset about is the voting got myself and too many people excited about having a voice and a choice. It was misleading on their end.

I think it’s been way to long, a lot of people have already hit 1800 and above, if they fixed it now then some persons may be able to collect 2 elite sets this season, only way i see them making everyone happy rn is if they implement something to make it so we can choose which DF elite set to pursue.
I’m like 99% confident this just gets straight up ignored by blizzard and swept under the rug.

I’ve taken a look into this and after some investigation, there’s not much that can be done here since we have technical limitations on our end that prevent us from assisting in these situations, I’m afraid, even though I really wanted to. The best way for your feedback to reach the developers is by submitting it as suggested by previous Game Masters.
I understand that this wasn’t the answer you were looking for and I wish I could do more for you here.

For me, customer support is just doubling down that it’s a developer issue and they cannot help with the situation, but I am still going to spam them about it until TWW comes out.

That seems like it would be a poor choice, as you are likely to tick off the support staff with a situation that is out of their hands. I would recommend keeping to posting on the forums or trying to get questions to devs during interviews/presentations, but to each their own.
