S2 Unchained Fury Illusion. Anybody know how it looks?

As much as I would like to have that enchant as well, theres a reason why theyre cool and unique. Every 2s duelist running around with it would absolutely destroy the value.

You don’t understand.

I DO have the enchant.

They nerfed it in legion and it’s never looked as good.

I’m not asking for it to be available again.

i am tho… bring back all the old enchants…

Never seen someone get so mad over a simple request lmao. Maybe try showing on a weapon that displays it properly next time.

Mad?
No, I just have an established persona towards certain individuals. :^)
You should have picked that up from how incredibly specific the insult was.

Mining picks show enchants more clearly than most weapons, as I already explained. You’re both tremendously low IQ and blaming me for how bad the enchant looks because you’re so invested in contrarianism that you believe your literal eyes are deceiving you.

Here’s Dreadflame and the Necrolord enchant on a mining pick to verify it’s not the weapon that’s the problem for you slimbrains that expect other people to facilitate your curiousity for you:

Older weapon models, particularly simple swords and axes, typically show enchants the largest with the exception of a couple of staves and polearms that have an obscenely oversized enchant. Many weapons have a single sprite generation point, for example daggers. Most swords and longer weapons traditionally had 2, one at the end of the blade and one towards the hilt, although the newer Shadowlands enchant designs only originate at the hilt instead sometimes. Mining picks have 3 contact points, with the “hilt” being located where the blade meets the handle, and both ends of the pickhead having a sprite point. The largest enchant-showing weapons, like the polearm Hellreaver, have 4 or 5 points distributed on their tip.

Maybe don’t assume the person charitably giving you screenshots of something you’re too lazy to look into on your own time is making a mistake in showing it to you simply because what they’ve shown you displeases you. Asking someone to take a better screenshot for you is a form of passive-aggression, responding to it snidely has more to do with just fruits than anger.

Yeah I’m not reading any of that lol. Try not insulting people next time.

Try not being a midwit participating in recreational outrage over a post that wasn’t even directed at you and clearly went over your bald peanut-shaped head.

p.s. it includes another screenshot that demonstrates both of your “critiques” are baseless, by all means respond to anything but that particular point. :^)

Damn still sticking to the insults huh? That’s sad man. I’m sorry that you’re such an angry person.

You’re being passive-aggressive. I’m being aggressive.
Only difference is self-awareness.

Below, you will continue to be passive-aggressive and derail the thread, and you will be convinced in your midwit stance that I am the problem.

Edit: nailed it. :woozy_face::ok_hand::smoking:

Maybe you’re lost, dude, this is the arena forums. I know you’re from Moon Guard and magnetically attracted to dramatic threads, but lmao. Nobody cares here.

Geez. I hope your day gets better and you think twice before hurling insults at people next time. Have a good one.

Also nothing I said was passive aggressive.

These people think they’re clever, eh?

Scabber, stop being a prick.

Without bloom then pick is a poor weapon to showcase the enchant so it literally just looks like someone sneezed on the weapon from your screen grab.

You literally needed none of what you wrote to not be an a-hole.

Edit: The old classic 2H Swords also have vibrant spell bloom on them and would allow us all to see a more fleshed out version of the enchant than the pick.

no

The weapon choice has nothing to do with it, midwit.
It’s the backdrop.
The backdrop of the preview mogs/illusions screen is also purple and black, which makes the dust particles of it (which are very downplayed) hard to see.
I can’t give you a better version of that from the PTR, because I don’t physically own the enchant, I can only force it to load in the dressing room screen with a pasted script.
This is the case for ALL modern enchants; of course they look better in-game with animations than in a screenshot. They’re not static textures. I should not need to deliver a disclaimer for you to understand this.

I don’t know what you’re talking about with “no bloom”, but I can assume from it you haven’t viewed the other screenshots I’ve posted showing Dreadflame and Unbreakable Resolve respectively on the same weapon, which is a pretty solid demonstration that mining picks don’t lack “bloom”, whatever you think that is (you’re talking about sprites, as far as I can tell.)

here I am posting it again for you:

Stop being needy and demanding in the same sentence. If my screenshots don’t fulfill your copium needs, install the PTR for yourself and learn to use an import string. Then you can see how it looks fully animated in all of its low resolution and bad shaders glory.

You’re functionally retarded if you don’t understand why weapon enchants without a ton of bloom (sinful flame being one) won’t show up half so well on the pick as they will against larger weapon.

But keep linking your crap and being a spiteful little pustule.

You’re clearly much more functionally midwitted if you don’t know that Unbreakable Resolve is an even subtler enchant and has no issues showing on mining picks because it’s actually got properly functioning shaders, which Unchained Fury clearly lacks given the blobby nature of its black texture borders.

The pick has more sprite generation points, the thing you’re calling bloom, than most 2h simple-swords do. They’re clustered in a tight triangular shape at the tip. It’s easy to see in the dreadflame screenshot, had you the intellectual honesty to even engage with the topic in any way other than borrowed emotional pandering.

This ain’t twitter.

I’m feeling ultra charitable towards the stunted today, so I loaded the PTR up again and put it on Hellreaver.
Y’all know Hellreaver, right? It’s not exactly subtle with enchants.

https://i.imgur.com/AZfU33d.png

well would ya look at that, it’s still got smudged black borders that look like non-functional shaders and a very diminished particle effect that’s practically invisible against the purple and black dressing room.

Let’s try some more…how about Orca Hunter’s Harpoon?

https://i.imgur.com/Lh580qk.png

Whoa that looks so much be-…just kidding, the smoke effect is part of Orca Hunter’s Harpoon, you can barely see the enchant on this too.

now, now, now, I know what you’re thinking,
“but Scabber, I overcompensate with the largest weapons I can find, surely it looks good then, right?”
Let’s try out my favorite weapon to sell on the AH, the Plundered Blade of Northern Kings!

https://i.imgur.com/NQdBIAK.png

Ah, swing and a miss…maybe it’s the enchant after all, eh?

If you only use daggers or the simplest just-a-stick staff models, it looks fine on those. Credit where it’s due.
Anything with a blade? Fuhgedabouded.

I’ll even go so far as to say it looks nice on this staff:

https://i.imgur.com/fRYiYtv.png

But that is perhaps a major red flag, if it only looks good on a staff that’s usually mogged by gnomes and goblins who just want a staff thats not clipping into the ground, lmao.

If you can’t tell the difference between how this shows the enchant and your stupid little pick then I feel really sorry for the brood mother cockroach that laid your egg and ended up with you. This is literally all people were asking for and it was like pulling teeth with you because you’re such an obstinate little freak.

Someone else already posted it if you’d read the thread you whining zoomer without a father.
Also, that shows exactly the same information the pick screenshot tells you. This enchant has non-functional shaders baked into its texture (the black bits surrounding the purple, if you dont know anything about texture-building) and such subtle particle effects that they’re invisible in most dressing room screenshots and are only perceptible in-game through animation.

You’re literally just pretending to have somehow gained more info from “big purple and black smear on an orange weapon” vs “big purple and black smear on a silver weapon” so you feel justified in your recreational outrage. Zoom, zoom buddy.
